Hi,

Is there a possibility to use an Android home screen shortcut to start a specific website in Firefox' private mode?

This would make it possible to use weeronline.nl (one of many sites) that forces the user to accept ALL cookies before being able to visit the site.

Thank you,

Frans-Willem Post

I know how to get desktop view each time going to a new webpage, but that takes too much time and I never need to see the mobile website. I used to use "desktop by default" but that no longer works with the newer Firefox. Is there some setting in "about:config" to do this? Or any other way? Or is my only option to go back to an older version of firefox, and if so, what are the risks?

Is it possible to get rid of Pocket on Android? The instructions here are not relevant to my Android phone.

At least on Windows the Pocket panel can be hidden, but it is very annoying to have all of my phone screen occupied by Pocket, which I do NOT find useful. It might be enough of a problem to have me abandon Firefox after many years.

Is there a way to remove the reading view button?

I never use it and it's taking up precious space that's already crammed.

Tapping it by mistake and having to reload the page is a pain in the A.

It appears this very useful tool is unavailable on Android even though it is on desktop. It's better than syncing, as changes don't propagate back to my account if I don't want them to. I don't really want to give my tablet access to my account - other family members use it in vacation.

I recieved two pop ups asking if I would allow firefox to record video and take pictures. Then the second asked if could allow firefox to record audio. I denied both and check marked to Never ask again in future. Which I've done in past at least twice. Has anyone had this happened to them or does anyone know how to forward this info and pics onto firefox?
