Why do I not have any control over which news outlets are on my home page. Every article is from Fox News and I am not interested in anything that News outlet is putting out. I am a Democrat and the page all of the sudden the past few months have almost all been from Fox News which is obviously a Republican and Donald Trump loving News outlet. So I am wondering why do I not have the option like in the past where I could choose which news outlets I would like to read from? It's kind of creepy to me that I would be sent almost every article from Fox News. Is there any way to change it? I know it might sound like I'm a nut but I promise I'm not, I'm just surprised by this whole situation. Thanks.

I don't understand why Firefox Android was designed so that the UI's dark theme also gets automatically thrust upon websites without user consent?

Dark theme for the UI and dark conversion for websites are supposed to be two *different* features. It baffles my mind that they were merged together like this, rather than just add an extra toggle for the user.

I know that there's an option to un-toggle the websites going dark in the about:config menu. But the Firefox stable release has actually disabled access to about:config as well!?

So what are we left to do? Just forever use the Beta/Nightly versions if we want any customizability over our favorite browser?

Why even disable about:config in the stable release in the first place, generally speaking? Chrome doesn't disable access to it in their stable release versions. Who's brilliant idea was it to make this change?!

As the title says, is it possible for reader view to follow the system's light/dark mode?

Currently, I can manually choose white on black, sepia, or black on white. That's great, though I'd prefer if the black/white or white/black would switch according to whether the system is in light or dark mode.

Apart from that, thanks for Firefox, I love it!

The new sepia reading mode cannot be turned off easily without compromising privacy. If i click to set it to dark mode through controls , the next page is sepia again. But if i use the fast way, by clicking on the icon next to the url, it turns my page from a https to a http. It feels like the feature is not supposed to work like that. Now i think about it, any page that by default is https is darkmode, but any page that is turned into an https is turned sepia or not https anymore. I get that it strains the eyes less and i am certainly not against the feature itself, but i do enjoy pictures and video's in full colour and for me personally, dark mode reads better.

In other words, i love it as a feature not as a default and i don't think it was meant as one, but it cannot be turned off right now.

Why in this world firefox for android doesn't have speed dial and speed dials folders like literally rest of browsers ?!? why this is such a problem to do it ?!?!?

Why is there a repetition of 'customise homepage' menu. It appears both on home screen and in the menu bar. Very annoying very bad. Very much unexpected. Just dump this. We don't need this menu on home screen , let it be where it belonged.

Hi, can anyone tell me if Firefox for Android (in my case: Fennec) will get a native dark mode for websites in the future? I know there are addons that do this, but unfortunately they make browsing much slower.

Im a regular user of Firefox Mobile and also Firefox PC. I'm missing a very important feature in "Firefox Mobile" is Shortcuts are not Coustomizable i can't order them and also shortcut isn't "Synchronized" with Firefox Account which is really frustrating. Became "Vivaldi" & some other browsers have this features!!! I used firefox like 2years but, If i want these features i have to shift from firefox to other browsers, which i don't want to. So Please Solve my problem and make me mozilian forever.

I'm using Firefox on Galaxy A55 (firmware OneUI 6.1) and facing an issue with dark mode. The app doesn't turn off dark mode automatically as scheduled when set to follow system settings. It needs to be force closed and relaunched for the change to take effect. Please fix this bug.

Hello, chromebook user here. I dont know if i count as android or not but still i have a problem. Just today i switched from chrome to firefox, and i realized i cant customize wallpapers! I have searched up every possible tutorial on here and youtube and on firefox itself. Hopings devs can solve this

Hi, I like a background/wallpaper from the limited edition wallpapers to cutomize home tab in Firefox android, so is there a way to download it or save it and use it as my phone's background aswell? Thanks.

I dont trust dark reader so in firefox desktop i use settings override the colors specified by the page with your selections above to Always, for me is enough, every site is dark and doesnt slow anything, but the real question is how to change or should i say force every site to dark in firefox nightly android, of course in nightly we have about:config available so is hope to do that without extensions but i dont know which line will do the right job? I found something like “browser.display.background_color” but where will be option to activate override the colors like in desktop? Thank you so much as always.

I actually really enjoy Pocket on my main windows machine in Firefox, read lots of the suggested articles all the time. However, when searching about it for Android all my queries seem to bring up the fact that it should be baked in from the get go.

My issue is that when I go to the "Customise Hompage" section there IS NO option for pocket. No mention, no checkbox etc. I have all the other options. I thought perhaps it was something else that I needed to download it from the app store separately however that didn't do anything either. I'm on 113.20 according the "About Firefox" section of the browser. Android version 13. I just did a reinstall of the app and nothing new appeared either.

Can anyone suggest any options.

am using a Chromebook with FireFox. It is a large screen. By default FireFox open site in Mobile display. Is there a FireFox setting to open all sites in Desktop display? Could it be possible to add a setting in FireFox to open all site in Desktop format by default?
