I'm getting a box popup that prevents me from doing anything normal. Can't select a new link like normal, the refresh is there, but in a different spot. I'll try to add the screen shot in case someone recognizes what might have caused this.

Links won't respond to touch , scrolling up and down is fine , all other touch functions are fine , just links and tabs etc won't respond

Any help ? Wasn't like this before

It's very frustrating to use Firefox as alternative to Chrome. It should be fast and reliable in browsing, which is fitting issues compared to chromium browsers like Chrome, Brave. Thanks.

Firefox keep refreshing the webpage on my Poco M6 plus device whenever I minimize the app for even a second. I've received many android updates but this keep happening. I believe it is something has to be with HyperOS.

I'm hoping for some help with a persistent video playback issue on Firefox for Android. I am committed to using Firefox for its privacy and its independent Gecko engine, but this performance bug is a major blocker.

The Problem: When I play videos in Firefox, the playback is very choppy and stutters, appearing as if it's running at a very low frame rate.

Crucial Testing Information:

This issue is specific to certain browsers. I have tested the exact same videos on Chrome, Vivaldi, Brave, and Ulaa, and they all play perfectly smoothly. The stuttering issue happens in Firefox (and also in Opera).

This confirms the problem is with how Firefox is rendering video on my device, not a network or hardware limitation.

Troubleshooting Roadblock:

I have already tried all the basic fixes (clearing cache, reinstalling, etc.).

I attempted to follow standard advice to troubleshoot this by accessing about:config to check the status of hardware video decoding. However, access to about:config is completely disabled in the stable version of Firefox for Android. This prevents any advanced user-side troubleshooting for performance issues like this.

Phone Model: OnePlus Nord 2T

Android Version: Android 14

Firefox Version: 143.0.4

Given that a critical troubleshooting tool is unavailable, I am reporting this directly. This seems to be a hardware acceleration incompatibility issue with my device.

I use Mozilla specifically to avoid the AI slop Google is pushing. I am deeply disappointed with all the AI scam bloatware suddenly slowing down my devices and compromising the integrity of my devices.

when I type in the search bar of Firefox I have to double tap the space bar to get a single space. quiries for solutions tell me to toggle a non existent option. tried different soft keyboards still happens. turned off predictive text on Samsung keyboard and it solved the space bar problem but I would rather switch browsers then turn predictive text. been using Firefox for decades don't really want to switch this issue will make me.

I've got a very annoying bug in Firefox for Android. A lot of times it registers a tap as a pull from the top which results in a page refresh. This happens for example when I try to open hamburger menu's on websites.

I've added the app version details for more information.

STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP page reloads after losing and regaining focus! This bug makes it impossible to use FF for any tasks that require external authentication and is simply incredibly annoying!

When I want to buy something and my bank want to check payment I change firefox for bank app but firefox automaticaly reload the page. Same problem if I want to sign in somewhere and need pause or copy something from another app. The firefox always teload page and I have to start again. ONLY one help is divided screen. But it is not solution.

In the first loading the share menu would only show other firefox devices until a few seconds later other options appear. Closing the menu and reopening would not have this problem so I am unable to check if it's an Android problem

​I am reporting two visual glitches (white bars) occurring in the Android version of Firefox.

1. White Bar Appear Numbered list items at the Top in Portrait Multi-Select Mode
   When the browser is in portrait mode and I enter the multi-select state (e.g., in the Bookmarks or Downloads management screens), a white bar appears briefly or persists at the top of the screen. This seems like a UI rendering error.
2. White Bar Appears on the Left Side in Landscape Mode
   When the phone is in landscape mode, a persistent white bar/strip is visible on the far left side of the screen. This affects the full-screen display.

Whenever I go back and forth between apps, there websites I have on Firefox gets reloaded. It is annoying and has been risky while on my banking website. This is why I have stopped using Firefox for any transaction related work.

Every so often (about 5 times a day?) when I tap the screen, Firefox initiates a page refresh as if I've swiped down from the top of the page. The refresh icon appears fully pulled down, and if I catch it before I release my finger, I can swipe back up to cancel the refresh. It seems to happen on some sites more than others, but I can't find a pattern or reproduce it reliably (maybe it happens more on sites that don't scroll down so the page is always at the top?). I managed to catch a video of it happening, but I don't see a place to upload it.

There is a significant delay with URL suggestion autofill when writing an address/URL into the URL-/search field. Many times resulting in a web search of the incomplete URL name, instead of going to the correct page. (Oneplus 13)
