fix the issue. Data and history including recently closed tabs, not working on Quit selection. I have to manually select history and then select 'everything' to clear. if i Quit firfox and come back in to it, recently closed tabs with thier history is still present. i have no idea if cache etc is cleared as no way to tell. So i can only manually do it as described above. its a pain not knowing if cache etc is also cleared for banking etc. i would like to revert back to last stable firefox but i cant as only this one is on google play. i suggest you fix it so we can delete firefox and reinstall older version until you have this fixed. it defeats the purpose of Firefox to do otherwise. Naturally, I am not sure, which topik summarise my problem the best, so, I ask the question here. I found out that Mozilla browser takes a lot of memory in my smartphone (like no one app else). Cleaning up the cache didn't help much, because the most part of memory is taken by the "user data". Please tell me what exactly is it, what parts it consists of and how to clean it avoiding the ability to remove anything important. Thank you for the fast answering and for operativity Korwin

I am pointing to a UX issue that has been introduced by a recent change to the way Firefox on Android displays the list of synced tabs.

Originally, this list was shown with its scroll-position set to the top of the list allowing users to quickly collapse tab-lists from devices, and thus quickly reaching to the tabs from the devices they were interested in. Moreover the earlier design also showed lists of active and inactive tabs on each device separately, which was very helpful.

All of that seems to have been done away with in favour of a new UX which is just a flat list of all tabs on the device, and the scroll-position of this list is set to the bottom of the list.

Hence, now if I need to access the most recent tabs that were accessed on some other device, I have to manually scroll all the way up to the top of the list. I have 4–5 devices and some of them have over 600 tabs. Having to manually scroll through all of them to reach the top is very cumbersome, and arguably bad UX.

Can we please restore the older UX? Thank you.

When doing anything that requires momentarily leaving browser focus, such as hopping to an authentication app or email or text to receive a 2 factor authentication code, the browser will refresh the current page every time I hop back to Firefox.

This usually causes in most cases the code I left to retrieve to become expired as it now wants a new one when the page refreshes. In most cases this also wipes out the entire content of forms that I have taken time filling in. This can happen any time the app loses focus, even if somebody just phones me and I don't even volunterily leave the app.
