I have an iPad, MacbookAir and Android phone [Samsung}. Can I use my longtime password manager, Dashlane web? It is essential that I am able to use Dashlane with Firefox

I realise this is a bit of a niche problem, but it's really annoying.

I use a British newspaper crossword site, https://www.theguardian.com/crosswords

The crossword consists of a lot of 1-character text fields, and when you type into one of them, it auto-advances to the next one. Firefox on Android always tries to put the new box that the cursor is in as close to the center of the display as possible. This takes 1/2 a second, during which Firefox misses the next letter I'm trying to type.

Either I need to slow my typing down, or I need to stop Firefox auto-centering the new text box.

Is this possible?

I want to know how to use Firefox Multi-Account Containers on Android. I have it on firefox nightly android but if i click on a category it doesn't show anything.

I cannot find a way to display several tabs next to the search field on Android! For mobile phone as well as tablets the original '+' button seems to be removed!? How to open and add tabs on the top of the screen?? To quickly jump... It was possible in ALL OLD VERSIONS. Please advice. Thank you very much.

Why is there no Multi-Account containers extension for Android? Honestly I think its an amazing extension for maintaining privacy, and I'd love to have that on my phone.

When I add search engine in firefox for android, it show this. But I can add correctly on firefox for computer. By the way,this afternoon,I am very angry. Because when I want to send feedback ，I'm in a loop that 'ask now-get help-choose products-ask now'. I find if I use orginal lanuages , I can't get help relly, I can only read articles! Whatever, it spends me more than 1 hour to look for the way to send feedback，it greatly consumed my enthusiasm for this product.

Being a decade user of Firefox I must say that I started to hate it because the last editions hide the choice for enabling or disabling javascript. The stupid comand "about:config" leads nowhere and all previous answers are absurd. Why Mozilla decided to hide the option " turn on / turn off" javascript? It turned a previously great navigator into a stupid user unfriendly useless software. I use the internet for over 40 years and Firefox has always been my favourite. What obscure financial reasons made developers decide to hide the simple option of earlier editions? Please put back the "on/off" option for javascript. Untill then I'll use Chrome.

So does fire fox just not give a shit whether the app is usable? You've completly stripped.any ability to customize and disable useless "features" that maybe 5% of user want. Are you just trying to go out business? How about returning control to the user. How about reading the app feedback and actually responding to users instead of ignoring us.

I have a homepage set to only show Shortcuts (it appears some menus refer to these as Top Sites). After a recent update (100?), history items started to appear added at the end of the shortcuts list. Is this a bug? Is it possible to disable this?

I am running FF on Android, v100.1.1.

Recently upgraded from Firefox Android version 99 to 100. I want my homepage to show only top sites (pinned sites) and nothing else. That can be arranged on version previous to 100. Firefox version 100 shows my previous history also. Setting do not make it clear how to show ONLY Pinned Sites. Or do the developer in their wisdom remove that option?

I used to be able to place shortcuts that I wanted on the Firefox homepage now it seems to be my history or nothing. Can we go back to allowing customised homepage. I don't want random stuff.

How do I turn off Family Filters in Firefox and Firefox for Android, something is blocking age related content, I didn't set it that way. I can't find any info about this anywhere.

As we know port 10080 has been blocked by many if not all internet browsers and port 10080 is the port that most routers use for their "Guest" SSID access.

I have been told that it may be possible to configure FireFox "Nightly" or "Beta" to allow port 10080 access which is what my router uses for the Guest SSID.

This would be for an Android phone to be able to connect to the Guest SSID on my router using port 10080.

Does Nightly or Beta allow this and if so what are the reconfiguration instructions so I can allow port 10080 access on the Android phone?

I am hitting a brick wall.

I have a house guest (my housemate's girlfriend) that I want her to only use the Guest SSID on my Linksys Model EA6900 router for her Android phone. The guest SSID uses port 10080.

I have been able to configure FireFox (for PC) on my laptop (as trial) to allow port 10080 as access for Guest SSID using "about:config" and it works. My problem is finding a browser for Android that will allow me to reconfigure it to allow port 10080 for her to use.

I was informed that possibly "FireFox Nightly" may allow this configuration. Attempting to configure FireFox on an Android using "about:config" does not work.

Will FireFox Nightly allow me to configure it to use port 10080 so she can access the guest SSID? If so what is the configuration instructions and where do I download Firefox Nightly.

If I am able to reconfigure FireFox Nightly to allow port 10080 for the guest SSID I assume that she will not have access to any other devices on the main/home SSID which is my main concern.

Any help would be appreciated.

The app successfully autofills user names and passwords but if I am registering for something or need to insert a delivery address I have to do it manually.

Is there a way to enable this it to automatically fill in addresses?
