The Mozilla browser is experiencing issues with restoring tabs notifications every time you open some websites. This occurs in Mozilla V155.0. Please fix this issue.

I have a suggestion for UX, UI in Android version. Like my attached pictures below, please put 3 buttons on the top (circled in red highlight) to the bottom to help us easy to click since then our thumb can't reach from the bottom to the top. Thank you.

Give us an option to turn off the group tabs it's been a headache for me I don't want this feature so just give me an option to turn it off please 👍 In fact an option to turn any future feature off would be fantastic adding an off option on every feature should be a default feature there's a lot of things I would turn off and I'm sure there's a lot of future features I would turn off so just add an off switch for everything in the future 👍

I cannot group tabs on Firefox android (mobile). I am on version 152.0.4. Whenever I try to group tabs by hovering one tab over another, it just shifts the other tab away. Theres also no selection for making a group when I press select tabs. I tries everything; from going to chrome://geckoview/content/config.xhtml (there was no setting for browser.tabs.groups.enabled) to going into secret settings and pressing control for tab groups android rollout. (I asked AI for help and followed close to all of its steps) Please help!

I've been trying to move off from Chrome to FireFox (FF) since FF is superior in many ways but it's been very hard since FF doesn't have the sub-tab groupings like Chrome does to help with organizing my open tabs.

It's easier for me to move from Chrome to Edge browser instead of FF.

Can Mozilla FF add this "sub-tab groupings" feature please ASAP to help me and millions others move on from all Chromium based browsers?

When I woke up to an update saying tab groups were now on android I was thrilled. ... And then I couldn't use them.

I have confirmed, to the best of my ability, that I am on the correct version, version 153.0, in the firefox settings. I have read the article about creating them back to front. I turned my phone on and off again, cleared the cache, etc etc... As far as I can reasonably tell, it should work, and it just doesn't.

Earlier tab switcher in Firefox mobile had half screen height which was easily accessible by one hand but now it's on the top of screen which is harder to reach.

At least there should be an option to switch between the two or bring back the old tab switcher and make it go full screen if swiped up and half screen when swiped down.

This one is just killing me reach to the top of screen every time.

Issue Description: When I switch away from Firefox Mobile and return after even 1 second, the currently opened webpage refreshes every time.

Actual Behavior: Every time I leave Firefox briefly and come back, the webpage reloads.

Additional Notes: The phone is capable of keeping heavier apps in background. I am able to run PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty: Mobile at the same time without background issues, but Firefox still reloads tabs aggressively.

Troubleshooting Already Done: 1. Disabled battery optimization for Firefox 2. Enabled Firefox as locked app in recent apps 3. Disabled phantom process killer 4. Reinstalled Firefox

In previous versions there was the option to "select all tabs" and then comfortably send these to whatever program on android i selected (i choose my messenger to share them with another person for example or sent them to a textprogram to export the tabs to a list) now the "select all tabs" option is no more and i have to select every tab ONE BY ONE which is a horrible experience if oyu have 100+ tabs open. i do not understand why the "select al ltabs" option has been removed (maybe due to the new UI style?) and kindly ask to restore the option to "SELECT ALL TABS", this would greatly improve useability, many thanks!

When will "Firefox for Android" have grouped tabs?

NB: Grouped tabs add a better accessibility, arranged usage, speed, design & yet more...

Hello everyone,

I am having a frequent annoying misclick with the Tab List View on android. I prefer the list view as the grid view requires too much scrolling for multiple tabs.

By default the most recent tab appears at the bottom of the list view. That makes sense, place it closest to my thumbs near the bottom of the screen.

However, upon swiping away or closing any tab, the undo toast banner also appears at the bottom of the screen. Directly over the bottom list item.

I often find myself wanting to close the bottom tab and open the second to bottom tab, however I just hit the undo button instead. Made worse by the tab list quickly sliding down to fill the screen and placing the next most recent tab directly under the overlay.

Is there any way to adjust the location of the undo overlay?

Preferably the overlay would not be directly in the way of the latest tab...?

Perhaps, a cleaner solution would not be an overlay at all... When closing a tab, replace the whole closed tab entry in the tab list with an undo message and button for the duration of the undo overlay. This could swipe in to match the swipe to close gesture of the user. That would avoid avoid the list moving around on the screen mid user input as well.

Not sure if this is the best route for feature requests but the tab list has been bugging me lol.

You changed the new tab behavior a few updates ago where new tabs don't get opened besides the current tab but rather at the very end of the tab list. And me having quite alot of tabs open forces me to scroll back quite along time to get back to my previous tab.

An option to revert to the old behavior would be neat.

After a recent update, I've found the swipe to delete function extremely cumbersome to use. it used to be that i could quickly swipe a tab and it would reliably get deleted. now, it doesn't delete the tab unless I move my finger further than what's comfortable while gripping my phone one handed. I basically only use the x icon now since swiping is so inconsistent.

Firefox is a great browser. Please add "Open in New Tab Group" to the long-press menu and floating tab bubbles for quicker tab switching. These features would make multitasking and tab management much more convenient on Android.

The 149 update made the tab previews much larger and even though that is probably a great change for people with vision problems, I find the extra space it takes up annoying as I tend to have a lot of active tabs and it makes it harder to scroll through them all. Is there a way to change the size of the tab previews or better yet, turn them off completely? I honestly prefer how the inactive tabs menu just has the text title of the page.

Is there any way to revert the new UI changes in Firefox for Android Mobile? The 3 dots are barely visible, the tabs in grid view are huge and take a lot of effort with thumb movement to scroll through. We now have a lot less visible pages.

I am pointing to a UX issue that has been introduced by a recent change to the way Firefox on Android displays the list of synced tabs.

Originally, this list was shown with its scroll-position set to the top of the list allowing users to quickly collapse tab-lists from devices, and thus quickly reaching to the tabs from the devices they were interested in. Moreover the earlier design also showed lists of active and inactive tabs on each device separately, which was very helpful.

All of that seems to have been done away with in favour of a new UX which is just a flat list of all tabs on the device, and the scroll-position of this list is set to the bottom of the list.

Hence, now if I need to access the most recent tabs that were accessed on some other device, I have to manually scroll all the way up to the top of the list. I have 4–5 devices and some of them have over 600 tabs. Having to manually scroll through all of them to reach the top is very cumbersome, and arguably bad UX.

Can we please restore the older UX? Thank you.
