Woke up this morning and my stupid phone had updated to the new, awful, Firefox on Android: ‎ 119.0 (Build #2015980915), 367d60e851+ GV: 119.0-20231019122658 AS: 119.0

To my horror I was seeing images on webpages, totally ruining my browsing experience. The main reason I use firefox on Android is because it allows me to turn off media. I don't want to see any of that, almost always entirely irrelevant, distraction. Now I'm going to have to use Samsung internet and continually click reader mode. This is NOT about ad blocking, it is not about saving data. It is about drastically improving the browsing experience. Please reinstate blocking of all images and videos.

Is there a way to allow popups as a whole or from specific sites? Some support chats open in a separate window as a popup and I cannot view them. I have to use a different browser in that situation and I would rather stick to Firefox

I have followed the directions to change settings for pop-up blocker but when I go to the permissions section of Privacy&Security there is no BLOCK POP-UP WINDOWS with a checked box next to it. So I cannot make exceptions.

I have Firefox for Android on my Samsung tablet version 111. I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Where do I go in settings in order to make Firefox my default app. I went into apps and found Firefox and clicked on it and made it my browser and now it's saying I don't have internet.

I am mobile developer, and I have created an app, that uses firebase dynamic links. With those dynamic links the users are able to authenticate into the app, via a link, that is sent to their emails. Uppon clicking on this email link, a browser should open the link, but should immidiately redirect the user and open the application, if the app has been installed.

On android this functionality works with Chrome, Opera, Duckduckgo, Edge and Brave. (So far what I have tested worked). But with firefox it just opens the google play webpage. It was a fresh installed firefox, as of now the latest version. Do you have any insight why it is not working in your browser?

Wrong language somehow. I was checking out the language settings & accidentally checked a box next to a language that I do not know. Immediately, I tried to change it back to English (U.K. version) but was unsuccessful & now I don't know what to do. I can't even guess correctly which one of the settings is the one for languages, because of course it is in a language of which I have no knowledge. Please, if someone can help? That is my most immediate problem - once that is sorted, I will need help restoring the browser with over 250 Collections on it, that just disappeared off my phone the other while I was doing some "housecleaning". I'm following the instructions to set Firefox nightly as my default browser, but when I go to settings and try to switch the toggle to "set as default browser" instead of doing it, it just opens a new tab with the instruction. I got up to 4 identical tabs before I gave up. I know how to do it, it's just malfunctioning.

In a separate issue, I have had Firefox Beta for about a year on my Kindle Fire, always worked great. Since the latest update, it won't even open. The screen pops up for a second, then immediately closes. I uninstalled and reinstalled, same issue. I installed regular Firefox, no issue. Then I found nightly, installed with no issue (other than the problem listed above).

The 'Open in App' button is missing in the overflow button.

I used to be able to log into Wells Fargo in Firefox browser. Then I did an update & now can no longer log into Wells Fargo. I keep getting an error message saying I'm entering the INCORECT USERNAME AND/OR INCORRECT PASSWORD. However I'm not. I have attempted to log in numerous times! My version is current! Help!

I'm trying to disable my history from grouping related terms together, but there isn't an option under the Tabs setting for the version I have. I cannot update Firefox through Google Play so I'm pretty sure I have the latest version (10.0.1). Is there a fix for this?

I know that I have had that option a long time ago and I want it back . I could save my website settings in a cloud and than if I needed I could backup them.

I am using an updated version of Firefox on Android. (118.1.1) I was trying to use the "add to home screen" function for a website but i can't find it in the menu. Did it disappear? The install function worked in a way to make an icon for a website on the home screen, but it only gives it a generic name.

I just installed Firefox Nightly in a Chromebook, and I can't find the developer tools. I have pressed Ctrl+Shift+I but nothing pops opened, and the browser's menu does not list the developer tools. (I tried to add an image through this form, but I kept getting a prompt about allowing the application to take pictures and videos, although I already had authorized access to the storage of the device. Given that it made no sense to keep getting this prompt, I was unable to add an image. However, I uploaded one to imgur, and the linked image below illustrates the Firefox Nightly menu. NOtice there is no developer tools.)

I use Better Open With on Android to have a choice of browser when opening links from apps. This has never affected how Firefox operates until the recent update.

Now, FF handles all links in any page as external and asks if I want to leave FF (and present the Better Open With options).

This behavior is not seen in any other browsers I have installed (FF Focus, Chrome, Kiwi, Opera). These browsers handle links on open pages correctly and open internally while also recognizing apps that are installed (Home Depot, etc).

Please fix Firefox to use itself for internally opened links!

Is it possible to customize the notification settings for the MB WhatsApp extension on Firefox? I would like to receive notifications for only certain chats or groups.
