The issue I'm having is that I'm being sent from browser to browser, which none of them are working...I was directed here to Firefox, from the email I received from text factory. Hello Firefox Support Team, I am experiencing a critical issue with the Firefox Android app where the control to manage pop-up permissions is entirely absent from the main settings menu. This makes it impossible to use any website that relies on pop-ups for critical functions (such as payment processing, SSO login, or document generation).

1. Problem Description The essential option to allow or block pop-ups is missing globally. For instance, when trying to access a government portal (https://sjmsnew.rajasthan.gov.in), a dialog appears stating the pop-up blocker is active, but there is no mechanism within the browser to disable it.

2. Current Device & App Details App: Mozilla Firefox for Android (146.0 (Build #2016129543), 13567a870654c915cd135b87cd1fe4e02fa8fa55 GV: 146.0-20251201213807 AS: 146.0.2 Latest version as of 2025-12-15) Operating System: Android (Android 14)

3. Technical Issue/Configuration The problem is related to the missing permissions toggle: Missing Toggle: In the main Settings \rightarrow Site settings page, the "Pop-ups and redirects" permission toggle is completely missing from the permissions list. Manual Exceptions Disabled: The "Exceptions" list is empty, and there is no visible option (like an 'Add' or '+' button) to manually add a domain to allow pop-ups. Tracking Protection Status: Enhanced Tracking Protection is currently set to the Standard setting.

4. Request This seems to be a UI bug or a configuration oversight in the current Android build, making the browser unusable for many common tasks. I urgently need guidance on either: a) How to restore the "Pop-ups and redirects" permission toggle in the Site Settings. b) An alternative configuration setting (e.g., using about:config) to allow pop-ups globally until a fix is released. I'm trying to access a site, I cant use my Google account because I get an error 404 so I need Firefox to not be connected to my Google, I don't know how to change it.

Hello all, I recently returned to Firefox after a long hiatus due to multiple problems. Some things are better, but the most important issue on android persists:

I have it set to always e in private browsing and to always clear everything on exit. I am definitely hitting "quit" from the menu to close the app, not just swiping it away. When I reopen it, I am still logged in to everything and nothing is cleared.

I have tried: Clearing cache and data Turning this setting off, restarting, turning it back on Force stopping the app both before and after exiting Reinstalling

I'm on a oneplus n30.

I have also tried manually clearing everything from the settings, then exiting, and it still leaves me logged in and doesn't clear everything. I have found threads from folks for years dating they've had this issue, but have not found a solution.

Firefox 148.01 on Android 10, when attempting to save a page in a bookmark subfolder I click the 3 dots, save bookmark comes up, I click on it, then I click on bookmarks edit which appears a few seconds on the bottom of the page and than it says bookmarks and underneath new folder, my subfolders don't show up anymore. So I can only save under bookmarks or underneath start a new folder. I don't see a way of moving the page from bookmarks to the subfolders either.

Hello, I’m experiencing an issue while trying to share links or content from Firefox on Android. The shared content sometimes doesn’t open correctly or displays incomplete information.

Could you please guide me on how to fix or improve the content sharing feature? Any settings I need to check or update?

Please allow us to choose per website whether it should always/never be opened in its respective app or if it should always be asked about.

Personally, I hate when websites like YouTube, Wikipedia or Reddit open in app without my permission, but I have a few payment cervices and a local government ID system that ALWAYS require a redirect through an app, so, at least to me, granular control of this feature - to always allow some, but not all websites - would be absolutely indispensable.

Edge for Android has had this feature for a long time, and, as far as I know, it is the only existing Android browser to do so. But I am not going to use Edge :( I am attaching two screenshots of how it's been implemented in Edge though.

I currently have to make two taps and possibly a swipe to bring up the address bar before i can do complex navigation. While I understand the android back button could fulfil this role, but having easy access to dedicated buttons would be great.

I noticed the UI changed for Firefox for Android and part of that change is there's a slight delay/transition when opening menus or navigating between settings.

May I ask for a toggle that disables the transition so menus open immediately, like the Extensions and More dropdowns do? It would feel intuitive for it to be in the Customize options.

Right now I'm on FFfA 148.0 (Build #2016144279), not sure which version I was on before. It's not the biggest issue but does add a bit of friction to the user experience, I've got muscle memory for being able to refresh faster than I can now.

The new UI's been great otherwise!

I truly enjoy using Firefox for mobile and I am trying to make it by default browser but I have such a horrible time with the pitch to zoo. I am visually impaired so the pins to zoom is a must-have for me, there are so many sites that I use this and the page jumps and never stays in place especially on YouTube. I feel that I have adjusted all the settings recommended to me inside Firefox in addition to changing configurations like the AKA settings to false or to true which I always I don't want to have to go back to Chrome so is there anything you can recommend or do for me all help is truly appreciated thank yourecommended but nothing has seen to help. Even as I type this up I lost my place and pinch to zoom to find it and the page jumped to the top several times any help to resolve this would be so much appreciated thank you very much. One last thing I do keep everything in desktop mode because it's easier for me to see not sure if that matters.

As above and when I click on the 3 menu dots to save a page in a bookmarks subfolder only bookmarks shows and clicking on that doesn't anymore bring up the subfolders like in version 147. So I can save pages only under bookmarks and there is also no way to move it to a subfolder from there.

When I'm on a long drive I need my YouTube playlist in the background because I need the navigator on screen, sometimes the autoplay works but usually it turns off after 1 or 2 songs!!

For at least 25 years Mozilla/Firefox have saved my passwords. Two days ago the column of passwords I am unable to open. What is problem and how to repair? I am 82 years old and under medical care and need my passwords of which many will never be used anymore.

My Samsung tablet has a "ghost touch" issue - as a solution, I activated a "long press" setting (0.2 seconds). Unfortunately, this clashes with Firefox settings: When I open a link or a page on Firefox, the browser registers only a small scrolling action and then stops registering other actions. I'm down to the point where Firefox is my default browser but I need to find Chrome from the depths of my setup if I need to open something in a pinch - or, in this case, using the syncing function to get the page from the tablet to my smartphone. Is there a way to deactivate custom long press settings on Firefox? Thank you.

I hope the mozilla team will keep the old toolbar ui like the image attach, old user such as myself are already familiar with the old ui and it would be inconvenient to adept to the new composable toolbar.

Ever since the new update I can't save to any of the bookmark folders on my phone anymore. When I click on bookmark now all I get is the options to save in the bookmark menu, the toolbar, other bookmarks or create a new folder. But all the other bookmark folders that I have I can no longer save to them it no longer gives me the options.

Even created a new folder to see if that would work, but I still can't access it when I bring up the bookmark menu so I was wondering if there's any workaround or a fix to the solution?

Ever since the recent UI revamp, search does not show suggestions. I confirmed they are enabled in settings. I tried restarting my phone, using other search providers (Google and duck duck go), and stacking trending results, all to no avail.
