Up until recent versions, I had the option to choose after what duration of inactivity, all open private tabs would close automatically. After the recent update, I can't locate this setting. Moreover, the duration is now not just non customizable, but also random. Sometimes, Firefox closes them in a couple of minutes, sometimes 20, and after more than an hour at other times.

Good day. Can someone please assist me with navigating the Firefox browser?...I would like to verify my documents here,for an online job I have applied for?. The issue I'm having is that I'm being sent from browser to browser, which none of them are working...I was directed here to Firefox, from the email I received from text factory. bold text Everything I try keeps getting blocked I can't open any sites from my emails and I'm wondering why I used to be able to open them directly but since the update nothing goes through I want it to stop.every web browser blocks the sites.

A notification dot in the UI has been added for Firefox android which is visible from the main screen and does not respect notification settings.

The settings to disable notifications and disallow notification dots does not prevent the notification dot on the settings buttons.

Hello, I am trying to reset my FireFox sync on my laptop and it keeps asking my for the 6-letter confirmation code when signing in. I realized my email as inactive and had to reactivate it during this process. However, despite being reactived I still do not receive FireFox account emails and I have all checked my spam, my filters, and even added accounts@firefox.com to my contacts and still receive nothing. I am not sure what to do at this point since I can't even set up a recovery key without the email.

Hello all, I recently returned to Firefox after a long hiatus due to multiple problems. Some things are better, but the most important issue on android persists:

I have it set to always e in private browsing and to always clear everything on exit. I am definitely hitting "quit" from the menu to close the app, not just swiping it away. When I reopen it, I am still logged in to everything and nothing is cleared.

I have tried: Clearing cache and data Turning this setting off, restarting, turning it back on Force stopping the app both before and after exiting Reinstalling

I'm on a oneplus n30.

I have also tried manually clearing everything from the settings, then exiting, and it still leaves me logged in and doesn't clear everything. I have found threads from folks for years dating they've had this issue, but have not found a solution.

For laptop and mobile, All open tabs between all synced devices, are all just in a list right when you click on or press on Firefox.. also, just have all the devices current history listed under that..and, AND... Can I take it one step farther and have them listed on all the New tabs when I click the new tab cross? Basically making "Firefox View" the homepage for all devices, I was gonna just create a shortcut webut when I click on "FV" no link comes up... Also possibly a "copy and paste clipboard" option across devices. Thanks in advance for any time this could save me and others in the future... also, This question seems logical that's it's may been asked a hundred dozen times before already, but I did search my summary

I truly enjoy using Firefox for mobile and I am trying to make it by default browser but I have such a horrible time with the pitch to zoo. I am visually impaired so the pins to zoom is a must-have for me, there are so many sites that I use this and the page jumps and never stays in place especially on YouTube. I feel that I have adjusted all the settings recommended to me inside Firefox in addition to changing configurations like the AKA settings to false or to true which I always I don't want to have to go back to Chrome so is there anything you can recommend or do for me all help is truly appreciated thank yourecommended but nothing has seen to help. Even as I type this up I lost my place and pinch to zoom to find it and the page jumped to the top several times any help to resolve this would be so much appreciated thank you very much. One last thing I do keep everything in desktop mode because it's easier for me to see not sure if that matters.

When I am using the android Firefox browser to watch YouTube, it is fine when browsing and finding a video. I will click on a video just fine, and start watching it no problem. The issue occurs when I switch tabs or switch apps to do something else and return later. Once I return to the YouTube tab even if the video is not or was never in full screen, Firefox will then be forced into landscape orientation. This persists between tabs until I either restart the app or do a Google search.

I found a potential solution in these forums. In about:config there should be a setting called media.videocontrols.lock-video-orientation. I tried this, but there is no such setting there for me. I'm at a loss for what to do now.

Ive been trying to swipe though google images but if I click an image the swipe gesture dont work at all. (I wasn't able to attach a screen recording so I had to take some screenshots) i cant swipe to the next image without closing the one i was in.

Settings provides feature "Delete browsing data on quit". With this feature ON and option "History" selected, the latest version clears the History list, but does NOT delete the list of Recently Closed Tabs on the history page. This seems to be a major bug.

Hello, I have the F-Secure password manager on my PC. Synchronization with my smartphone is also working fine. But it doesn't work in Firefox Android. I can't set up an extension for F-Secure. Thank you very much for your help, Peter

I have read replies to this problem of "no ready to scan button to tap" but find no answer. I'm signed in to the App - there is no "ready to scan " button  ??? Please provide a solution.
