As of this morning (7-5-25), the app Firefox and only the Firefox app turns my entire phone screen grayscale when it is open in the foreground. The color transition takes about a second, and if I tab to another app or the home screen it takes about a second to transition back to full color. I cannot find any active grey scale settings in either my phone or the app. I have downloaded no extensions to my knowledge.

Can you please add the "Malayalam" language to this browser? I don't use this app because it doesn't have this language. Can you add this language to the translation? 🙏🏻

Dear Support, while using my email, Outlook, on my mobile, I cannot log out of my account. Can anybody help, please?

Am using the Galaxy A21s Android mobile.

Am using Android 12.

My browser is Firefox for Android, version 140.0.3.

The email is Outlook.com.

Whenever I go into my own account, I click on my profile, and then sign out. In the very recent past, the system has done exactly that. Now, however, the system 'hangs' and does nothing. The only thing that was different was the updating of Firefox for Android.

Could anybody suggest anything, please? Do not want to stay logged on, especially on an Android mobile, Marek

I don't know if there's anywhere else that allows you to report bugs, so I'll do it here. Currently, you cannot swipe away download pop-ups on the mobile version of firefox beta and it covers screen elements for as long as it persists. It's a minor bug that removes your ability to tap anything on the bottom of the screen for 20 seconds or so when it timesout. An example is in the image I gave. The screen pop-up continues to block any interactions behind it.

I am adding tabs to Collections and have noticed that I cannot change the order in which the list of Collections appears, either on the Home page under subheading "Collections" or upon clicking "Save to collection" from the three-dot menu.

The order seems to be fixed by an ordering system of oldest to newest. There is no way to rearrange this ordering, either to alphabetical ranking or custom ordering.

Is there a way to switch up the chronological ordering? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello. The browser is used on Android. xiaomi phone I have 1 question about creating new tabs. How can I bring the icon for creating new tabs to the foreground, so that the + is near the sites input line?

Hello, I'm using Firefox for Android and actively work with bookmarks. I really miss the feature that would allow me to edit bookmarks directly from the search results — for example, to rename or even delete them. This functionality seems to be missing.

Am I doing something wrong, is there a trick to it, or could this be a small update worth considering?

In Firefox android, sometimes when I press the address bar, instead of coloring and deleting the whole address, so I can type new address, it goes into some editing mode, where when I start typing, it starts continuing the address already there. What is this extremely annoying feature? I share a screenshot where an address is colored. The grey "normal" part, and the purple part where the cursor is when I start typing.

I default to using private browsing on Android. However, even with having one tab open(no tabs open in normal browsing) firefox consumes way too much resources after a while and only having one tab open (>2.5 Gb of ram).

I noticed that normal browsing caches itself when it is not active on screen while private browsing keeps running in background and memory usage keeps going up by the second. Attached are screenshots of memory usage going from around 250mb to 2.5gb in couple of minutes. All I had open was a single tab!!

Why the hell your history always been such a mess for android. Why that stupid grouping and no dates. And why tf I have to enter the search again in it after each opened link. You have no idea how annoying it is to look for anything. Surreal you can't figure it out in all these years

Currently I'm running Firefox Android 140.0 on Android 15, though this issue has been present for the past two to three years, though it has started to occur more often in the past six months.

When browsing Private Tabs, the browser will regularly close all these tabs on its own, unprompted, and show the New Tab page for Private Tabs. This is visualised by a slide left animation, similar to switching between tabs by swiping across the navigation bar. Sometimes, this also occurs when switching apps, even though Firefox is locked to prevent its background task from being killed. Normal tabs are not refreshed. The “Close Tabs” setting is set to Never. The specific websites accessed do not change anything, as they are different each time.

Steps to reproduce problem:

1. Open several (5-10) Private tabs
2. Browse as normal
3. After a couple of days, whilst browsing, all Private tabs will close themselves. Alternatively, lock the Firefox app in multitasking view, then switch apps for a minute and then return (this tends to happen at random after a couple of days).

so i use ome tv on Firefox using user agent switcher EXTENSION. but when i connect to ome tv i cant flip the camera option in the down left it wont flip and it lags when connecting with other people please fix or help

I already reported this and still nothing changed

can't flip the camera bottom left. and it keeps crashing while talking to people

downloaded user agent switcher EXTENSION. switched to ios ipad (because that's the only way you can use ome tv on a android browser). go to ome tv site . logged in.

Actual results:

the camera flip option in the bottom left not working!! it just shows my rear camera

This is offered as Mozilla support but it mihht never be answered

Please tell me my sign in email so I can check passwords and logins in Firefox for a uRL subscription that suddenly doesn't work on my 

Android.

I've noticed the apparition of a share icon over the address bar in the most recent version(s), probably since v139 or 140.

I don't mind it as such, I don't mind personally having to tap on the vertical three dots either to access it but in some situations, it is actually taking a bit more real-estate on my address bar than I'd like, in fact making reading the address url impossible.

Is there any chance it could be hidden or at least optional (in settings)?
