I just got a new phone a couple of days ago. I am used to watching youtube on browser instead of the app for one simple reason: adblock. I set everything up the same way I had it on my old phone. But this one always needs me log in again after a few hours, which is a new issue. I already contacted youtube about it and they told me it's probably an issue with cookie settings. ...but I can't find cookie settings anywhere. All the tutorials are for older versions and simply don't work anymore!

For some reason I installed the separate Ghostery app on the tablet, and it doesn't work. Will it work as an addon - does that work in Firefox on Android? The ads when streaming movies is so annoying. Please tell me how to block on tablet/Firefox.

Hi there I've been using Netscape navigator, then Firefox forever. I also use Thunderbird and have made donations for these products.
Very upset to see that cookie ought to delete and all the adblock add-ons have been discontinued or deleted from my browser. You say because it's a security problem but I've been using these for 10 plus years without any problems.
As long as advertisements show up on my browser I will have to now switch after 20 plus years to Brave.
