I have a firefox account for many years. my email provider went bankrupt, and I have no longer access to my emails. now I did reinstall firefox on my computer, and wanted to migrate my longterm account. I was able to log in successfully, but there was also an email sent to the bankrupt provider. email is returning immediately, and my account is now blocked. How do I get into my account?

The Firefox homepage is constantly broadcasting privacy incentives and ways we can donate to improve a free web, yet they need the permission to access my camera, mic, files and so on in exchange for the use of their program? I find this very contradictory, and would love to hear more from Firefox. I understand that certain permissions are necessary but i find the request for these things to be intrusive and upsetting when it's coming from a company that pats itself on the back when it comes to privacy and the fight for a free and open Internet.

Please at least provide the option to turn permissions that aren't necessary for the operation of Firefox on Android, off. Camera and mic, are not integral parts of my web search past time and therefore, i don't believe they are any of the Mozilla corporations interest either.

If there are ways to get back some of the privacy taken away by these requests using Android, as i understand getting away from all these permissions from every app is futile.. Please let me know. Maybe an app that retains some of these permissions, or blocks access to apps from accessing then? If there are suggestions out there I'm open to suggestions, thank you.

I closed an account that I had gmail send all my information from. Now that I want to download it, I can't due to the fact that it wants me to log into the account that no longer exists. If I try signing in to another account to try to download it will not let me. This is a brand new phone and I can't open my bank app due to a message that keeps reading " page management" ,have installed and Uninstaller it. Been to bank, TMobile site and simply nothing works and now i can't recover my downloads from an account that was closed even though I downloaded them cause it keeps sending me the email address of the account that's closed and won't accept another account to open the download. Everytime I try to open MediaFire it's just a blank page, I've refreshed the page repeatedly but it didn't work, I also tried with other links, but it also didn't work, I kept seeing the blank page over and over again.

I am downloading videos but I can not view their progress on the download page. They only appear after they're done downloading or a notification when they fail. What's wrong?

I download pictures frequently and have noticed an issue with Firefox. It appears that Firefox is accessing my files and replacing random pictures I had previously organized in my Pictures folder. Even though I declined the permission for Firefox to access my pictures, it somehow still reads my files and replacing them it likes to. How can I stop this behavior? It doesn’t happen with other browsers.

There is an easy way to replicate this issue on the Firefox release, beta, and nightly versions:

1. Download a picture.

2. Move the picture to any folder within the Pictures folder.

3. Redownload the same picture again.

4. Click "Open" directly and open in Google Photos.

5. Click the three dots in the top-right corner to confirm the file's location.

You will see that Firefox knows the new file location and opens it from there. This indicates that Firefox is accessing file information directly because the "Open" function wouldn’t work if a third-party app was responsible for managing it.
