How can the android FF app not have a way of showing progress of downloads? I find this absolutely bizarre, when every other browser does this. It's critical information to have. You have no idea how much has downloaded or how long is left, the downloads window is just blank until it's fully completed downloading an item.

When i download movies and web series download start but some time network problem stop download. Some browser like brave, samsung internet are started failed download automatically but firefox doesn't and when i tap on retry download start but always in zip file doesn't extract. I am on firefox android. Currently whenever I try to download a file there's a good chance that it fails (like 70%). If the download on a file fails then itll always fail. I have tried clearing cache, disabling all the add ons, enabling external download manager and altering enhanced tracking protection level but nothing works. The only way to "fix" it is by uninstalling but it only solves the issues temporarily. After a certain number of downloads (still uncertain on the number) it goes back to failling. It's incredibly inconvenient to have to do that every 1-2days because it resets all my cookies and I have to relog on all my websites. I have like 30gb on my storage so it couldnt be that. Please any suggestion would be helpful, I feel like I have tried everything at this point. Android version 13 Using the latest version of firefox

I used to be able to long press on a video and then get a pop-up menu with the option to save the video. With the most recent versions that doesn't work anymore. It worked fine inversion 115. Please bring that back!

First problem: downloading image in firefox (android) causes SIM to briefly disconnect, causing internet drops on mobile data for a few seconds. SIM provider and location - GolanTelecom Israel. The browser has about 60 tabs of google search open, cant close them due to valuable data. Disabling addons did nothing. Firefox Nightly does not have this issue, only default Firefox app. Second problem: on some sites downloading images always fails ("Download failed") in mobile version of firefox, on desktop images are downloaded fine , e.g. any post on [ https://www.pixiv.net/en/ ]

For years, whenever I downloaded a pdf on my phone (Motorola droid), it opened in the Adobe pdf reader app. But around a month ago it stopped doing that. Instead it opens the pdf in its own url in Firefox. This is very frustrating as I cant do much of anything with the pdf there (especially search it). I've looked all over my phone for ways to change the settings back to the way they were before but I can't find anything. I've tried searching the support site but the only answers involve the browser on PC, not phone. Do you know how to make it so downloading a pdf automatically opens it in the Adobe app? Thanks.

If the file being downloaded has a really long filename, Firefox doesn't allow scrolling to the download button, that is now below the screen space. A solution could be allowing to scroll or trimming it.

Is there a way to disable the download prompt on Firefox nightly mobile? I can't seem to find anything in the settings. It's just a minor annoyance, can't seem to find anything in my android settings either. Thank you!

Recent update causes all pdf links to be opened in Firefox on Android with no option to download, and no setting to choose a default behavior. They're was another person who asked a similar question and was told to use the "Share" option and then "Save as PDF" - this doesn't work. Another advise given was long-pressing on the PDF link and choosing to save target - it won't work when I am pasting the pdf link into the address bar, which is how I do it primarily. I'm stuck using the Open in External App, which opens the pdf in Google drive, then having the option of saving the file. So many unnecessary steps. Please fix.

Last time I have fillup online form in efrro and after submitting final form and then my form couldn't download automatically or there was not option of download and when I was saving as pdf it was also not working so please improve this problem or otherwise I will leave to use it.

Starting about a week ago, every time I try to download a PDF file, it opens in a new tab instead of actually downloading. I have to copy the link and paste it into the Google Chrome app to make it download properly. How do I fix this?

Hi I just noticed that the latest Firefox (version 111) for Android can't download web links pointing to pdf files any more. From the release notes, I find "You can now view PDF documents as you browse, no need to download them and open external applications anymore". This is horrible, in most time, I do want to download pdf files to my device, so I can view/edit them locally later. Plus, when the network is rate limited, the Firefox browser display nothing and seems to be frozen until the pdf file is fully received by Firefox browser which is horrible user experience. While in normal download, at least I can see the download progress and be aware if the download is interrupted or whatnot. Please revert back this "enhancement", or if you want to keep this enhancement because some other people want it, at least please provide an option on the Firefox for Android to disable it (which would be more fair to everyone). Before you fix it, I had to uninstall the latst Firefox and use the old version for the time being. thanks

I downloaded some images in incognito mode from Images tab by using firefox's "save image" option, but i can't find them in my Downloads folder and Firefox says that i didnt download any files

On this link if the options are selected, there are two embedded PDFs in two tabs on same page. The firefox Android app downloader randomly gives the option to download only one of the two. I wish to download both the PDFs. Is there a way to stop the firefox from giving download option, but see the embedded PDFs on the page itself. So that we can download it by clicking on the embedded PDFs.
