All of a sudden I am getting an "Invalid URL" error when trying to bookmark a website on Firefox mobile. I have tried pages with different extensions (.com, .org, .tv). I cleared the cache and restarted my phone. Did not work. I have the latest Firefox mobile 142.0.1 and a Samsung A25.

The newest update 144.0.1 now has numbers next to bookmark folders. I don't need nor want this info. How do I disable this setting?

Why are basic features like editing bookmarks not in the app. On chrome you are able to click and hold on a bookmark to select it, then click and hold on it again to move it anywhere you'd like in the folder. Also there is no "move to" option on Firefox which would make sorting much easier, it would be nice to have such a simple feature like this for convenience.

Existing Firefox Desktop user with Mozilla account (which lets me sync bookmarks across several Desktop devices.) New Firefox Android (version 143.0.2) user, logged in with Mozilla account, Desktop bookmarks are accessible now on the Android Firefox installation.

Problem: I'd like keep the folder in which my bookmarks (synced from Desktop --- the folder shows up on Android Firefox as Bookmarks > Desktop Bookmarks > Bookmarks Toolbar > (a set of folders I have on Desktop firefox containing my bookmarks) open after launching a web site from a bookmark stored there.

Observation: Currently after launching a web site from bookmark stored in the above folder, the navigation I made to reach my bookmark folder of choice is no longer open, so I need to repeat the navigation process from the start to get to my bookmark folder (that was synced from Firefox Desktop.)

Alternately: I'd like copy selected bookmarks from my (large) library of bookmarks (synced from Firefox Desktop) onto the home page of Android Firefox but do not see how to do this (I can edit the bookmark where it currently resides on the Android Firefox installation, but I don't see how to make a duplicate copy on the Android Firefox home page listing (and I don't want to delete the existing bookmark(s) on the Android Firefox installation.)

The Save to Collection feature needs work on Android. You can't order or edit the bookmarks.

One slight of hand and bookmarks disappear from the collection. No confirmation of delete is offered. The bookmark just disappears.

If I enable bookmark sync my android Firefox bookmarks will mess up all my desktop Firefox bookmarks. Is there a way to import my backed up desktop Firefox bookmarks android Firefox? I have no idea how to fix this. Thank you.

Please upgrade bookmark management. It takes too many clicks to get to the list. Favorites are too few spots. Can't drag drop to order or swipe to delete. It's been a decade or more folks.

can the icon of the search bar in bookmarks be set at the top again(if so how) because it's really annoying that I have to click on bookmarks than click at the bottom of my phone screen than to click on search icon after clicking search bar icon to have to click at the top of the screen to than be able to search for the bookmark I'm looking for

Firefox recently crashed on my PC and i had to restart from an old Bookmarks HTML file i had. the Bookmarks were from 2 months ago and my mobile is still in present Bookmark mode. how can i get the Bookmarks from my phone to sync with my PC, so as not to replace my mobile with the PCs "new" bookmarks?

I foolishly upgraded to the latest Android mobile version. I like my bookmarks kept in the order I set them. Firefox, with the new version has decided they should be alphabetical once again. I have turned off this annoying behaviour in previous versions by disabling Compose Bookmarks in the secret settings. This option is no longer visible. How do I get my bookmarks back in the order want and stop firedox from screwing them up again?

What is this obsession the development team have with screwing up user bookmark organisation? This keeps coming back like a bad penny.

I would like to report an issue with bookmark management on Firefox for mobile.

On my phone, when I search for bookmarks using the bookmark search feature, I am unable to select multiple bookmarks at the same time (for example, by long-pressing or using multi-select). This makes it difficult to manage or delete several bookmarks at once.

This issue does not occur on Firefox Desktop, where multiple bookmark selection works as expected. The problem appears to be limited to the mobile version only.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Firefox on a phone. 2. Go to Bookmarks. 3. Use the search bar to find bookmarks. 4. Try to select multiple bookmarks.

Expected behavior: Ability to select multiple bookmarks in search results on mobile.

Actual behavior: Only one bookmark can be selected at a time.

Moving a bookmark on Firefox on mobile device when opening the bookmark edit if you want to move a bookmark for example for Mobile bookmarks to Desktop bookmarks:

In my case I first click edit, click on the location and edit > Folder and I am showed unlike when I browse my bookmarks where folders are closed, all folders in hierarchy are opened which make for an endless scrolling for minutes trying to find the folder I want to move my bookmark to, as a poweruser who has thousands of folders and bookmarks.

There are ofher browsers where this is reversed and easier to move a bookmark because all folders are closed. Is this a feature that can be added to Firefox?

Also the setting saying you can display bookmarks on home screen, actually its a scrolling banner with most recently saved bookmarks. I miss the old classic Firefox where you could set your new tab and home page as your bookmarks list making it super easy and quick to get everything you need right in front of you without needing extra steps to enter your bookmark lists.

I have Fx 123 for Android. I expected to see "Manage Bookmarks" at the bottom of the bookmarks menu like what is found in one of the article's screenshots. However, "Manage Bookmarks" doesn't appear.

I can save a bookmark, then see it in Firefox for desktop computer via Sync. I need editing the tags for the bookmark when creating it. Something similar was possible with Pocket (now EOL). How could I do? Is there some place on which suggest a feature request?
