Am i the only one that finds these instructions totally hopeless when syncing my desktop to phone?.. So i tap on the 3 dots / Menu in Firefox on mobile, but after that there is NO Sync & Save Data to tap on anywhere in Firefox mobile after hitting the menu dots??.. and i mean ANYWHERE in the menu, or settings or account (of course there is the ususl Syncronise Now option in the account.

So just where is this Sync & Save Data i would lobe to know, nevermind how am i supposed to pair my devices when theres no clear way to access this and the associated QR code?

Totally frustrating, I've never understood these instructions with no outcome possible.

Dont give me the link of the how to with a desktop/laptop/typerwriter i left that obsolete trash behind 10 years ago.

Im getting pretty annoyed at the lack of possiblities of importing bookmarks. There seem to be no available apps that deal with this and of course mozilla hasnt caught on that this is a common sense requirement of users 🙄

Someone tell me there is an option to import bookmarks that im missing please.

Sync collections after Android factory reset, have Firefox on desktop that is synced, but the new Android install synced bookmarks but not collections, of which i have many, or did.

I'm sure I've just missed a step, but been reading for 3 weeks now .... any idea's?

I have several collections in Firefox on my old phone, things I use regularly. It's the only way to save websites on the phone, so I assumed this would sync to my new phone.

I can see an archived thread about this from 2022, is it really not possible to sync these? It seems bizarre to offer the capability to bookmark sites, but not allow it to live with you.

Will it ever be possible? Or should I stop relying on this feature? The main collection I use frequently is one for recipes.

I want to synch the bookmarks on my new Android phone to those on my old Android phone. Whenever I try to use this facility it seems to synch with my desktop, which I don't want. What am I doing wrong, please?

sorry - looks like my WiFi connection to the desktop was kicking in rather than pairing with the second phone. No need to respond to this query but I am not sure how to close it.

the firefox App has been unintentionally uninstalled when an additional widget has been drag and dropped to "uninstall" on the smartphone. Is there a possibility to restore previous session or the active tabs or is all this data also uninstalled/ lost? I have not been logged in with my firefox account.

Any way to delete all my bookmarks on Android before syncing with my desktop?

I reset my data by using the lost password link, so all fresh and ready to sync with desktop. deleting one at a time might take months.

I can't find how to transfer existing files to sd card. My phones internal storage is almost gone. There is no space for even the smallest app. I have mounted and formatted the sd card and it does appear on my phone. I just can't access any sd card options. Thank you for help.

So on a fresh macos install logging in to sync my addons/bookmarks etc isn't working. It either directs my to a setting on mobile that doesn't exist, or just says "account disconnected" and prompts to log back in - even though I'm already logged in! It's driving me a bit mad tbh. Any ideas what's happening?
