Now that firefox Android supports addons, please someone make addons for History export..

Is there any other better way to export history.. I have tried sync.. but there seems to be some limitations in sync, it didn't sync all the history..

I'm wondering why FF doesn't have something built into the browser that will resize text when you zoom in. Right now, if I zoom in on text, it DOES get larger, but then it also goes outside the edges of the browser so that I have to constantly scroll left and right to read the article I did come across an add on, but come on. This is something basic that should be build into the browser:

i like firefox on my cell phone as well as on my pc, but i encounter a problem on my tablet. The screen is big enough that I could display my bookmarks bar permanently (as well as tabs). if I want to look up several things quickly, which would certainly be possible with my tablet with keyboard and mouse, I can't even do that because I can't open the bookmarks that quickly.

however, i can understand that this is not permanently implemented, but i would like to have a customization option via on/off in the settings and while we are on the subject, an option to switch tabs on/off like on the desktop like the page marker permanently on desktop mode would be really nice.

of course it could be that these options already exist, then it would be that i am too stupid to find them because i really couldn't imagine that they don't exist and have already rummaged through all the options.

Having navigation buttons at the top of the screen can be more accessible to some people because it is more compatible with the default orientation of the human hand. (Also disappointed that I can no longer put Gboard most of the way up the screen. But that's a problem that won't get fixed because Google is too big to have useful support and dev teams)

It appears to me that one can only rearrange or move the position of a bookmark (in Firefox) via a PC and not with an android phone.

Is this correct? If not, could said instructions for doing so via an android phone be forwarded?

How do we permanently block and keep a website from being able to return bk into a person's life after the site was the cause of an immense amount of financial and emotional hardship. By having something that does this, like the Duck browser does, our clients, friends and family will feel more safe, right?

I wanted to disable the prefetching/preloaad pages and I found some entries on about:config that I had to change. Some of those are here on the official support site and some not, I found them on another forum.

Here's the list: network.prefetch-next (false)

network.dns.disablePrefetch (false)

network.dns.disablePrefetch.FromHTTPS (false)

network.http.speculative-parallel-limit (0)

browser.urlbar.speculativeConnect.enabled (false)

So, my questions are: 1. All these expect one "browser.urlbar.speculativeConnect.enabled" are available on android (nightly). Is there and i can't find it or it's indeed not available ??

2. Is the "network.http.speculative-parallel-limit" works only for http or it works and for https as well ?? Is there some setting to geti it to work for https if it doesn't ??

3. Is true that the "network.dns.disablePrefetch" and/or "network.dns.disablePrefetch.FromHTTPS" doesn't work (if i disable it) if i have turned on the dns over https ??

4. Are there other settings that I need to configurate or I'm good with these ??

Hi Members, I know this question comes up regularly, but I'm asking it again please.

The Firefox mobile browser has the 'Collections' group tab feature, but is there a way of seeing these grouped tabs either at the top or bottom of the browser app page?

Is there plans in the future to instigate the feature, or can it be turned on in the development mode settings?

Hello everyone, I don't know where it comes from (my screen or moz update), but I have a problem I didn't have before. When I open the tabs menu, the option to close a tab by sliding it laterally is way too sensitive. When I slide vertically to navigate, I very often close one of my tabs. Very annoying. I checked in the parameters if there was an option to deactivate that (Especially that there are crosses on each tabs to close them. The lateral sliding is pretty useless). Is there an option in about/config to deactivate that parameter please ? Thanks in advance.

By default, Firefox only downloads directly to the internal storage, and not the micro SD card I installed. Its become tedious to manually move everything to save phone space every time I download anything.

All the past forums said to use about:config, but I understand the newer Firefox removed that function as it would break the app due to some major internal changes.

Please add the function to set a download path for Firefox to send my files to, including to my SD card.

It is impossible to trigger a doubleclick or from some tests, extremelly difficult to do. I calculated that in order to trigger a doubleclick, the 2 clicks needs to be somewhat no more than 0.08 seconds aparts. :That's wrog and inaccessible, the value should be between 0.4 and 0.8, NOT 0.08.

I'm everyone working on Firefox is absolutely sick and tired of hearing from us Android users bellyaching, usually about incredibly ubiquitous, very basic features, which somehow only affect our OS, so let me apologize before I begin, and yes I do know it's a bug, and read a rumor Firefox 57 may fix it, to keep your reply as minimal as necessary.

I recently migrated back to you, and while it hasn't been any complex issues, I spent an figuring out I couldn't simply open my browser to a specific URL, though yes I did apply the quasi-work around option of making it a permanent page/icon, which I can click, though this took another investigation in itself, because for some reason Google News(web based url) doesn't doesn't even list as a website in the hamburger menu, which changes it to an app. Yeah, it is indeed an app, but I'm using the URL so this just seems like it was built to confuse, which thankfully a post on Reddit made crystal clear, along with plenty of company of other confused people.

Now my next issue I now know I can't even fix, but simply would appreciate an idea of when/if the bug will be stomped. I, of course, have a couple of fillable pdf files I need to fill in and email, so during my breaks yesterday I finally found(tons of answers out there obviously between old builds/OS) out this was a bug, and Android users simply cannot use web based pdf editors till it's repaired (I'm an old school programmer, detest downloading any app I'm not power using, especially if there's a web based version, even Google News that I read constantly, I stick w/website, because as you know we already have more apps than our hardware's performance can handle. Found a github post, stating this might be fixed in Version 57? I looked at the About Firefox, and saw a 119 number, but it wasn't clear if that was build, or what number there was. I just downloaded Firefox, so do you have any idea when/if any of these very basic features are going to be fixed?

From my reading, it sounds as if this new Android build is still very much in it's infancy, and understand it takes time and updates to get things high and tight, and I wouldn't even be bothering you had I found anything here or elsewhere that wasn't utterly vague. So perhaps first, when is the next build due, and second, is there any specific info as to what we can expect to see fixed and third will there be a homepage button, that we can put a specific url in along with regaining the ability to view/edit pdf files that are web based? I, obviously am just going to have to use my old ad ridden browser to accomplish this, but I'd sure like to stay default with your browser after spending all this time making it just that, and forbthe fact that otherwise, Firefox Android has accomplished everything else I was hoping to nip in the butt,along with finally getting back my ability to highly customize my browser. The new sepia reading mode cannot be turned off easily without compromising privacy. If i click to set it to dark mode through controls , the next page is sepia again. But if i use the fast way, by clicking on the icon next to the url, it turns my page from a https to a http. It feels like the feature is not supposed to work like that. Now i think about it, any page that by default is https is darkmode, but any page that is turned into an https is turned sepia or not https anymore. I get that it strains the eyes less and i am certainly not against the feature itself, but i do enjoy pictures and video's in full colour and for me personally, dark mode reads better.

In other words, i love it as a feature not as a default and i don't think it was meant as one, but it cannot be turned off right now.

Home screen custom wallpaper selection, new themes ( blue, white or smth else ), new open tabs section style. Please bring a few more features like this, because Firefox can be made much more beautiful (I think so). Especially custom wallpaper should come as quickly as possible. This is just one user's opinion, I hope you take it into consideration.

How to add speed dials in homepage and URL bar on Firefox Android?

I access some sites instantly like alternative search engines, social media, news sites, messages and others so need them on homepage of browser (also new tab like Chrome otherwise speed dials won't work).

But in Firefox Android and Chromebooks, I can't find a way to have done sites as speed dials like Edge browser, Samsung browser, cococ browser, soul browser, mask browser, kiwi browser, Brave browser, Vivaldi browser, and Opera browsers among others. Only Firefox is light years backward despite being veteran.

Humbly requesting this feature urgently as usability is zero when using Firefox browsers and I have to go back to one of the browsers mentioned in that case.
