My keyboard is often glitching out while I'm in the Firefox browser. This will happen when I'm trying to search on websites or in the search bar.

I've tried a few different keyboards and I've had this problem with Gboard(the one I want to use) and the built-in Samsung keyboard. It seems to work fine for the Microsoft's keyboard but I prefer not to use that one. I've recently updated both of theses apps but the issue persists. The screenshot is what I see when this happens; the area where the keyboard should be is solid black.

If I use the search bar that normally contains the URL, it works but I try to avoid this because using that bar seems to get stuck often on a blank screen(or take a while to load? Not sure what's happening there).

Is there a fix or workaround?

I hope somebody may be able to help. Many years ago, Firefox used to have a 'stripped down' version. This type of version, I cannot for the life of me remember its name, was able to be used to open the browser. It was a minimal version of the browser, starting with no bookmarks, no passwords, no extensions etc. It just allows the browser to start. It can then be used by developers to test out if the browser works with a certain app.

Be most grateful for the name of this version of Firefox for Android. Would just like to report a bug with the latest version of Firefox for Android using the Bugzilla system, Marek

On July 2nd, I began receiving error messages in emails that connect with Healthcare apps that I need to check settings in my browser for Javascript & turn it back on.

I read in solutions that it's automatic, but there must be a way to activate it again. I even restarted my phone hoping that would solve it.

I've noticed the apparition of a share icon over the address bar in the most recent version(s), probably since v139 or 140.

I don't mind it as such, I don't mind personally having to tap on the vertical three dots either to access it but in some situations, it is actually taking a bit more real-estate on my address bar than I'd like, in fact making reading the address url impossible.

Is there any chance it could be hidden or at least optional (in settings)?

As the title says, this is a very commonly used feature, but for some reason, Firefox has never included this option in the menu,that's a common feature in browsers based on the Blink engine

I'm trying to sign up for Mozilla monitor and I got to the payments page and selected PayPal at which point it said that I would be directed to PayPal but I wasn't. There was nothing else to click on on the page.

When I set a shortcut for a website, I just get a randomly colored icon with the first letter of the domain in the center from some website . This happens even though the websites have proper favicons — I checked. The issue seems to be with the app itself, not the sites. I also tried it on a freshly installed latest firfox browser, and the problem persists. One example is https://www.perplexity.ai/, which doesn't show its icon either.

Guys, the only issue I have is that Firefox for Android can't import/export bookmarks.html. I've tested a few others, especially one called Kiwi, and even Brave. I understand that they're Chromium based, but why can't the same functionality be built into Firefox? I think that the Sync function is too limiting. Other than that, I LOVE Firefox, have used it on PC for years and have always enjoyed the experience. It's just that I use my phone to do a great many things these days, rather than using my laptop, so the bookmark import/export feature would just make it perfect for me 😊.
