So i was browsing google to find any solution with android Firefox and bookmarks. It's 2023 and it's still impossible to move bookmarks in it. Is this some kind of a joke? So the only option is to move to Opera i guess? Can i move my bookmarks to it on my phone?

Why are basic features like editing bookmarks not in the app. On chrome you are able to click and hold on a bookmark to select it, then click and hold on it again to move it anywhere you'd like in the folder. Also there is no "move to" option on Firefox which would make sorting much easier, it would be nice to have such a simple feature like this for convenience.

i like firefox on my cell phone as well as on my pc, but i encounter a problem on my tablet. The screen is big enough that I could display my bookmarks bar permanently (as well as tabs). if I want to look up several things quickly, which would certainly be possible with my tablet with keyboard and mouse, I can't even do that because I can't open the bookmarks that quickly.

however, i can understand that this is not permanently implemented, but i would like to have a customization option via on/off in the settings and while we are on the subject, an option to switch tabs on/off like on the desktop like the page marker permanently on desktop mode would be really nice.

of course it could be that these options already exist, then it would be that i am too stupid to find them because i really couldn't imagine that they don't exist and have already rummaged through all the options.

When I finally decided to start organizing my hundreds of bookmarks, I began to experience a crash every 1-2 minutes. I'm opening, editing and moving bookmarks into different folders, which by itself shouldn't cause frequent crashes. My phone's specs shouldn't be an issue either since I have an s24 ultra. Just migrated to Pixel 7 Android. Was able to sync my logins and passwords from my PC. However Boomarks didn't sync even though I selected/checked them to be synced. Why not? How do I get my PC boomarks to appear on a Pixel 7?

Firefox recently crashed on my PC and i had to restart from an old Bookmarks HTML file i had. the Bookmarks were from 2 months ago and my mobile is still in present Bookmark mode. how can i get the Bookmarks from my phone to sync with my PC, so as not to replace my mobile with the PCs "new" bookmarks?

merry christmas all ... in bookmarks why can't you organise them the way you want to ie: move them up or down in the order you want them... I can't find a way of doing it. and secondly on the homepage in the image I have uploaded why is there so much wasted space? and you can only have 2 rows of shortcuts. The official instructions say to put a bookmark in a folder click on three dots, click to edit, then click on either a particular folder or some non-existent generic folder button. In my version of android Firefox, neither alternative is possible. If I go from the edit bookmark screen to the preceding general screen (where the folders are listed) and click on a folder, both happens, the bookmark is not transferred to the folder. As for the second, one is told to open the edit function and then click on the folder button. But there is no folder button. How to do it? I'm running android 14 on a Galaxy A14.

can the icon of the search bar in bookmarks be set at the top again(if so how) because it's really annoying that I have to click on bookmarks than click at the bottom of my phone screen than to click on search icon after clicking search bar icon to have to click at the top of the screen to than be able to search for the bookmark I'm looking for

Android Samsung fold 4 has had Firefox with bookmarks from initial set up..doesn't automatically add new bookmarks and no folders immigrated from other FF devices which work between themselves!

    I also get no sync listing when I hit the 3 vertical dots, tho the phone is listed as active I'm ff devices on mymacs!

If I enable bookmark sync my android Firefox bookmarks will mess up all my desktop Firefox bookmarks. Is there a way to import my backed up desktop Firefox bookmarks android Firefox? I have no idea how to fix this. Thank you.
