Add the title of the topic mentions, whenever I use the send tab option to send Tabs from my PC to my Android phone something weird happens. I send a tab that is open (in normal mode) on my PC to my Android phone using the send tab option. For some weird reason it goes and opens that sent tab in the private browsing section on my Android, even though it was a normal tab on my PC that I normally sent to my Android and want it to open in the normal section of my firefox on Android along with all other tabs that I may have open in the normal suction on, but it doesn't. The tab just goes and opens in the private browsing section. Why does that happen? Is it just happening on my phone or is anyone else having the same problem? It's there a fox to this?

I want the sent tabs from my PC to open in normal section on my Android phone instead of automatically opening in private browsing section. That's all

Hello there :) Thank you for keeping the web open. Actually, I remember when I was using old version of firefox mobile, I was able to rearrange open tabs in the list by taping, holding, and dragging it to another place in the list. However, it seems it's no longer possible in new (current) version of firefox mobile. I was wondering to know if there is any possibility to bring that useful handy feature back to this awesome browser. Best regards.

Hi ! I have a really big problem with my tabs in Firefox Browser for Android. I see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1285576 and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1265530 but without reply.

If I open a Wikipedia tab (or other), after some time, it's closed. I checked the tabs parameters and it's "Manually". The problem is elsewhere.

Please, I really want to use Firefox but I need all my tabs.

Thanks for answers !

It's very often nearly impossible to activate scrolling on the tab overview page on my s7 edge. The scrollbars don't appear and the page seems to be fixed. The whole overview page itself is moved down the screen instead of scrolling the content. This is annoying. Any help is welcome.

Hello, Recently I encounterd a strange bug wherein I simply cannot open a new tab in Firefox for Android. Everytime I do so, it just resets the same page to the default homepage. Same on both regular and private browsing.

I have gone through the forums and found nothing useful for this situation. So far I've tried: 1. Removing all extensions 2. Completly reinstalling Firefox from both the Play Store and F Droid. 3. Upgrading to the beta and Nightly versions to see if it's just a bug

No luck, I'm honestly stumped as what to do. Currently the jank setup I have is to open some random link in a new tab and then look up what I want in said tab, but this cannot continue.

I'm on a Poco F1, running Android 11 with Firefox for Android v87.0.0-rc.1

Without any difference in functionality the grid view doesn't make much sense to me. For a long time Firefox was the preferred browser on my phone, mainly because it was the only one that supported manual tab reordering. The fact is that I often have a lot of Web pages open in tabs, and I plan to read them later. With Firefox I could quickly set the priority of reading, moving tabs up or down. Suddenly Mozilla made the tabs unmovable and introduced collections instead. Collections are convenient, but don’t replace manual tab reordering. They are great for routine tasks. But on phones, the vast majority of routine tasks are performed by their own applications, so, collections can only be useful for news and forums. However, even while reading the news, I open several tabs that I often need to rearrange. Thus, Firefox became much less attractive to me. Around the same time, Google’s Chrome made tabs movable and even introduced groups of tabs to make browsing more convenient. I recently realized that I now prefer Chrome. I only open Firefox when I need to listen to music videos in background or access my bookmarks and Firefox accounts. Will Mozilla team ever again return manual change the order of tabs?

I'm trying to move all my open tabs from one android phone to another. I shared my tabs to the other device but the sending device says that it is unable to send. I am trying to send at least 400 tabs though.

Is there an inherent limit to how many tabs I can send at once? What must I do to open the tabs in the receiving device?

Cannot figure out how to post to support forums, hope this is it.

Issue 1: Cannot scroll up tabs, which after recent update is all older tabs. It simply swipes the menu closed if you try.

Issue 2: If you accidentally close a tab, hitting "UNDO" does NOT restore the tab. Have to do it manually through history.

Issue 3: (common) Cannot change order of tabs at all. Not by dragging, nor any setting to change the list order between newest tabs ascending or descending.

Issue 4: (possibly being fixed currently) Old tabs you switch to will not load or refresh properly. Will only load if you go to url and send it again as if you typed it.
