On my note 4 (Android 6.0.1) i'm using firefox 143.0.3 (Build #2016117407) and youtube stopped working (wheel turns then gives an error) . First i thought it's was the adblock so i disabled but that didn't fix it. So i used a proxy that also didn't worked. Then i used another browser (chrome, opera mini) and they worked. I didn't change any settings. I installed an addon User-Agent Switcher to change firefox desktop version which also didn't worked.

Edit: Opened only HTTPS mod in the options and did a full shutdown of the phone and now it works. I think youtube or someone else changed something and only HTTPS fixed that, not tech savvy enough to find why.

I been a Firefox since around 2010 (desktop) now on Android i even love this despite of heaviness in resources but efficient, there's only reason why i keep not using Firefox on Android, it is the mobile data bandwidth usage, even with strict ETP and pair it with ublock origin (easy mode or medium mode) and localcdn (that should help saves mobile data) but still consume high mobile data. Like just opening a comics style website brave uses obly around 30 probably 50 mb max but in Firefox it already consume around 100-120 mb.

When I want to buy something and my bank want to check payment I change firefox for bank app but firefox automaticaly reload the page. Same problem if I want to sign in somewhere and need pause or copy something from another app. The firefox always teload page and I have to start again. ONLY one help is divided screen. But it is not solution.

How do I delete/remove/disable/kill the search engine icon on the left side of the address bar in Firefox Nightly on Android? The about:config toggle browser.urlbar.scotchBonnet.enableOverride in the desktop version doesn't exist as an option in the Android version.

Nobody asked for a search engine icon in the address bar and nobody wants it. It's already irritating enough that searching from the address bar instead of loading a search engine URL like an adult is a ~~feature~~ that can't be turned off, and I don't need a crapulous little icon reminding me of that on a mobile device.

can you help? Firefox was updating my machine. As I remember it asked if I wanted to add  ??( I don't know) Android  ????? I didn't think I wanted it so I thought it was over and I stopped. Now I can't get Firefox -- can you help me?

Seid dem neuesten Update von Android schiebt sich das browserfenster nicht automatisch nach oben. Wenn die tastatur eingeblendet wird. Sprich der chat, also das was ich schreibe, verbirgt sich hinter dem tastaturfeld.

Vor dem Update musste ich das auf vielen websiten nach oben schieben. Um das zu lesen, was ich aktuell tippe. Nun kann ich das nicht mehr hochziehen. Und muss jedesmall die tastatur verbergen, lesen, korrigieren.. weiter tippen :/

Meine versuche, die bisher erfolglos geblieben sind: Firefox app neu installieren. Andere tastatur für android installieren. Neu starten vom smartphone.

Das Smartphone hat kaum apps installiert. Ist also ziemlich blank. In anderen browsern habe ich nicht das problem. Ausschließlich in firefox. Und das auf jeder Homepage mit einem chatfenster.

Firefox ist das aktuellste aus dem playstore. Also frisch. Samsung tastatur Samsung galaxy s 23 ultra. Neuestes betriebssystem (update novemer 2025) Wenige apps installiert, wie krankenkasse oder email.

Out of the blue you asked me to sign in after over 5yrs. Then you tell me my user name in use. Yes by me. So I changed password and then Google got involved. So I tried me Google sign in. Didn't do anything probably made things worse. How can I sign back in again?

I am new to Firefox. I recently installed it on Android with the latest version (I believe it is 143) and while playing with the settings, I found the "Private Lock Tabs" feature. However, even after acknowledging it with my fingerprint, I can switch back and forth to normal browsing without it ever requesting my fingerprint again, and my private tabs remain visible and are never hidden. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app and turning on/off the feature but it doesn't seem to work. Any help is appreciated!
