Hello, I tried allowing a certain site (work related) to use location services on my phone but Firefox blocks it. I tried manually changing it to no avail. Even deleting site data didn't work. How do I fix this? And is there some way to view my permissions for a site without entering it?

What's the current way to disable port bans on Android?

I was messing a round with some webserver stuff and ran into the port restriction stuff; while I could (and eventually will) switch the port to 80 (or any other port for development), this deeply annoys me; I don't appreciate that ports are blocked, particularly when I'm testing my own software.

On desktop, `network.security.ports.banned.override` works fine. It's an incredibly inconvenient system, but that's aside the point. On Android, however, this doesn't seem to be an option. Specifically, `about:config` doesn't seem to exist. I saw a post from a couple years ago mentioning it in nightly and beta, but that either never hit the main browser, or was removed when the massive update (the one that also killed off an enormous number of extensions) was released.

What's the current way to bypass or completely disable (whichever is easier to do) the port ban in the Android app?

My desktop Firefox recently decided to permanently change http to https for my lab Web site. My lab server can't handle https so I was unable to view my Web site using Firefox. I was able to correct this problem by going to Hamburger icon > History > Manage history, searching for my Web site, right-clicking on one of the found items, choosing Forget About This Site, and clicking on Forget.

How can I do this on my Android phone? I haven't been able to find the corresponding functions in the user interface.

I'm using Firefox 105.2.0 on my phone.

Thank you. - Robert

I Have gone thru absolutely every menu setting visible in FF for Android... and there has been no current findable answer provided in the forums. What's the deal? This should be easy. If it's just no longer an option, please say so. There's Nothing under "Enhance Tracking Protection" whether OFF or "standard"; Nothing under "Customization"; Nothing under "Private Browsing"; Nothing under "HTTPS ONLY" -- Not when enabled or Disabled; Nothing under "Site Permissions"; Nothing under "Exceptions". Thank you!!

I've seen other references in the about pages which seem to imply i'm using a nightly build in addition to the logo..

When I have "Open links in apps" turned on, for some reason all links to xda-developers.com URLs are directed to the Nextcloud app — which obviously doesn't know what to do with them.

I enjoy the "open in app" feature but this is frustrating. I checked in the app information settings that the Nextcloud app doesn't open any URLs by default, and certainly not specific to xda-dev...?

You have it for the desktop, you could disable it in about:config if you hadn't also disabled that for Android users. Please fix.
