My keyboard is often glitching out while I'm in the Firefox browser. This will happen when I'm trying to search on websites or in the search bar.

I've tried a few different keyboards and I've had this problem with Gboard(the one I want to use) and the built-in Samsung keyboard. It seems to work fine for the Microsoft's keyboard but I prefer not to use that one. I've recently updated both of theses apps but the issue persists. The screenshot is what I see when this happens; the area where the keyboard should be is solid black.

If I use the search bar that normally contains the URL, it works but I try to avoid this because using that bar seems to get stuck often on a blank screen(or take a while to load? Not sure what's happening there).

Is there a fix or workaround?

I've looked at multiple articles at the links below, and I've tried to implement what they say, but nothing works. All I want to do is enable push notifications for a website/web app on Android so that I can use the app similar to a mobile app. It seems like this is possible with Firefox, but how do I do it?

For reference, I'm using: Android 16 Firefox 140 Pixel 9 Pro

Firefox search was not working for some thinfs like Yahoo or google so I uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that would fix it. Before that I tried clearing the cache and restarting my phone. When I reinstalled most of my bookmarks on the initial page have dissappeared. Is there a way to recover them or can someone on your end send me a list or something so I can bookmark them again manually? Please help ASAP?!

I've noticed in browsing history that a lot of tabs are private. I don't use or want private browsing, can I disable it?

I'm not sure but I think that the private tabs were opened by Google Assistant and/or Gemini (if that makes a difference).

Guys, the only issue I have is that Firefox for Android can't import/export bookmarks.html. I've tested a few others, especially one called Kiwi, and even Brave. I understand that they're Chromium based, but why can't the same functionality be built into Firefox? I think that the Sync function is too limiting. Other than that, I LOVE Firefox, have used it on PC for years and have always enjoyed the experience. It's just that I use my phone to do a great many things these days, rather than using my laptop, so the bookmark import/export feature would just make it perfect for me 😊. I've noticed the apparition of a share icon over the address bar in the most recent version(s), probably since v139 or 140.

I don't mind it as such, I don't mind personally having to tap on the vertical three dots either to access it but in some situations, it is actually taking a bit more real-estate on my address bar than I'd like, in fact making reading the address url impossible.

Is there any chance it could be hidden or at least optional (in settings)?

On July 2nd, I began receiving error messages in emails that connect with Healthcare apps that I need to check settings in my browser for Javascript & turn it back on.

I read in solutions that it's automatic, but there must be a way to activate it again. I even restarted my phone hoping that would solve it.

No idea who is responsible for the UI on mobile devices (android in my case), but what I noticed lately, it starts to upset me. First of all, the url bar is clogged with icons and I can't even see the website address (screenshot attached). This needs to change. In my opinion, seeing the website url is really important, I don't want to see icons that I never use or use them VERY rarely. And my second issue, is that the bookmarks menu is at the top of the menu, and it's impossible to reach it with one hand using one finger. This should be put at the bottom, because in my case I use the bookmarks very often, and this annoyance really gets me. Also, regarding bookmarks, why can't we move the bookmarks up and down? We only have the delete button, but no moving options. Example - I have a folder named Movies with 10 saved bookmarks. Inside this folder I want to move 4 bookmarks down and 3 up. Can I do this on android? No. Why? Because. So, is it possible to add these BASIC functions in a future update? Thanks.

When I set a shortcut for a website, I just get a randomly colored icon with the first letter of the domain in the center from some website . This happens even though the websites have proper favicons — I checked. The issue seems to be with the app itself, not the sites. I also tried it on a freshly installed latest firfox browser, and the problem persists. One example is https://www.perplexity.ai/, which doesn't show its icon either.
