I have firefox for android installed and have set up "delete browsing data on quit". I made sure all boxes are ticked and when I press quit it does delete my browsing data, however the recently closed tabs section still keeps all its info retained, in effect my browsing history does not get deleted until I do it manually and then quit firefox. I deleted the app cache and when that did not work, I did a fresh reinstall of the firefox app and the issue still persists.

When will Firefox Android allow backing up bookmarks to a file on the phone? I want to keep my phone and my desktop browser separate, so I don't want to sync. Without this feature, I regard FF Android as so problematic that I'm trying to find an alternative.

When I try to play whatever video on X in Firefox Nightly mobile, it just shows sequences of solid colors. Audio is still normal.

The issue happens for both GIFs and Videos This only happens in Firefox Nightly. In Firefox, the videos can be seen just fine.

I know Firefox supports the Dark Reader extension, and it works. But I shouldn't need an extension for something this fundamental.

My request is simple: add a built-in force dark mode that applies to every single web page automatically — YouTube, Facebook, news sites, blogs, government pages — everything. No extension, no workaround, just one toggle in Settings that makes every website dark.

The problem with Dark Reader: - Pages visibly blink and flash before going dark - It slows down heavy websites noticeably - It's an extra install that most casual users never discover - It shouldn't be the user's job to find a fix for a missing core feature

Firefox for iOS already has a built-in Night Mode button in the menu. Android users deserve the same — and better. Make it automatic, make it system-wide, and make it respect AMOLED screens for true black backgrounds.

Microsoft Edge and Chrome already have experimental force dark mode. Firefox can do it cleaner, faster, and make it a proper setting instead of a hidden flag.

This is a basic comfort feature in 2026. Please make it happen natively.

I found a UI bug in Firefox for Android on Nothing Phone (1).

Device: Nothing Phone (1) Android version: 15 Firefox version: 150.0.1 (Build #2016157687), 094f3362dcbc efdce34f05b355607cdce06a4ef4 GV: 150.0.1-20260427013024 AS: 150.0.1

Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Firefox on Android. 2. Tap the private browsing icon/tab switcher. 3. Observe the screen layout.

Expected result: The UI should remain stable without moving.

Actual result: The whole interface slightly shifts downward after pressing the private browsing icon.

The issue is visible in the attached screenshots.

Lately my Firefox app window will just randomly close while I'm using it. I notice most often on Facebook, but that's because it's the most often used page.

When I reopen the app, it's like I just opened it, not like it got minimized.

What's wrong with it? I have it updated to current version, as well as I've run malware and virus scans to see if it's my phone. Nothing found.

The browser is very nice and fast, but Firefox only shows 8 of your favorite sites on the home screen. Please increase this visibility to 30. The home screen has a huge screen, but there are unnecessary shortcuts like tabs are pasted, and people don't use them anyway. There is also the option to add tabs under the settings shortcuts, but instead of adding tabs when returning to the home screen, a home shortcut can be added, and it would be more useful.

I already reported this and still nothing changed

can't flip the camera bottom left. and it keeps crashing while talking to people

downloaded user agent switcher EXTENSION. switched to ios ipad (because that's the only way you can use ome tv on a android browser). go to ome tv site . logged in.

Actual results:

the camera flip option in the bottom left not working!! it just shows my rear camera

Dear Sir/Madam, Recently I have been having issues accessing a particular website named asus.com for reasons I am unable to discern I keep receiving an error message each time I attempt to access the site. I keep receiving an error message indicating that the site cannot be reached. It should be noted that I do not have any issues with any other websites. Top bar reappears after page scrolled down, preventing further scrolling, but when releasing finger at the top of the screen the bar completely disappears and doesn't come back.
