I recently tried to use the Offline Reader function (by clicking the "paper list" icon which appears in the URL menu after a webpage loads) during several plane journeys when I had no internet access Each time I switched a number of tabs, c. 19 of 73 open in total, to offline reader mode. Each time I waited until the page reloaded into the OLR format. When, after takeoff, I went to read them, some loaded only a blank screen. Others loaded into OLR again but then tried to refresh one or two minutes later, failing and showing the "please reload page" button. Others managed to retain OLR data until I had read and closed the tab - which was never a very long time (over 5m). After the first few times that the page failed to load I switched off mobile data in my phone settings but this didn't solve the issue. I tinkered with Dark mode etc and nothing helped. Other Help articles here are reporting that OLR mode has been removed as a function which I find odd. Any idea why this is occurring? Thanks in adv, Alex

Often, when I switch from Mozilla to a different app and then back, Mozilla seems to reload the page I left off from. This can be immensely frustrating, and I don't know how to avoid this issue.

For example, say I am filling out a form on a website. I need to switch to an app, say telegram or WhatsApp, to copy someone's telephone number. When I now switch back to the website in Mozilla, the page is being reloaded - all my previously entered data is gone, and I have to start from scratch.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I have an HP Chromebook that is up to date. Recently Firefox flashes black for a second then comes back. It does this continously while I type or scroll on websites making it very difficult to use.

I have searched and found that on Chromebooks, Firefox does not have a Safe or Troubleshoot mode. Firefox does not do this on my Android tablet (Samsung) or Android phone (S21+) just on the Chromebook. It started maybe 2 weeks ago (today is 09/05/21).

The troubleshooting issues I've seen with flashing black screens apply to Windows, etc, and not to Chromebooks or Android in general. I don't want to use Chrome, do use Duck Duck Go browser for a lot of things but for regular websites I frequent I use Firefox. It's flashed about 60 times while I've written this.

Any suggestions?

Once in a while, after browsing many pages, the top of a page will be cut off, and it will stay cut off unless I scroll to the bottom and then back to the top. I suspect the problem is related to Android 12 (I'm using a Pixel 4a), because I don't remember seeing this with Android 11.

Whenever I open this website https://gadgets.ndtv.com/moto-g5s-plus-4gb-ram-64gb-storage-price-in-india-4262-v3294 on the moto g5s phone, the site loads and after barely scrolling a bit it freezes firefox. Then the screen becomes white and firefox just crashes. Any firefox based browser on android is affected. Nightly, beta, stable, mull browser, fennec by f droid. It works just fine on any chromium based browser.
