Currently using Firefox Nightly version 111.0a1 for Android now when trying to open a link in another app it always shows a popup to confirm.

This was not present in previous releases and I don't know if there is a way to prevent this popup as it makes it uncomfortable. Is there an option I may be missing to disable this feature? If not, could an option like this be introduced?

Thanks and regards

I'm a physical keyboard user for Android and find it impossible to use Firefox, there doesn't seem to be any documentation on simple keyboard shortcuts for access the addressbar or menubar, getting to search in the page, or access fine-grained tools for navigation like there is on the desktop version.

Where are these features documented? The Android Talkback feature doesn't cut it for me.

Is there any way to disable the urlbar autofill on mobile? It used to be possible to just turn off `browser.urlbar.autofill` in `about:config`, but that's no longer available. Even if I use Firefox Developer or Nightly so that I can actually get access to `about:config`, the option is no longer there. I absolutely despise the autofill, and, up until the new version of the mobile browser, Firefox was the only browser that actually let me turn it off. I was disappointed when the update broke that, but I waited, figuring that it was still new and there were some kinks to work out. And now it's been months and it's still missing. Is there still some other way to turn this off, or am I missing something?

I remember sites with related terms not always being grouped up not too long ago. The change isn't bad but would like to know how to disable it. The main issue being ever since this change was implemented, it breaks some functionality. It keeps you from being able to look through the rest of your history until you delete the group. Either it prevents you from continuing to scroll down. Or when you do keep scrolling, it keeps looping the sites already shown.

Hi, I'm actually entirely sure what category my tickets belongs in so apologies if it's misclassified.

I've been having a problem recently with Firefox where mobile YouTube (m.youtube.com) keeps turning up in Simplified Chinese. I'm on a Pixel 3 and my device language and default language are both English (Australia). Whenever I can change my default language, I do it to English (Australia) or English (UK). My keyboard languages are English (Australia), Chinese (Simplified) and Russian (Russian), and although I don't think this should affect the problem, I see no other reason YouTube would show me a Chinese YouTube.

Whenever I go to the YouTube settings and change it to English (Australia), then close Firefox and reopen it to access mobile YouTube again, I am faced with the same Chinese YouTube with seemingly Chinese recommendations too.

Usually you'd think this is a problem with YouTube but the problem doesn't happen when I use mobile YouTube on Google Chrome. It's automatically in English (which one I haven't bothered to check).

I mean I guess it was most likely part of the developer teams goal of completely ruining Firefox mobile, but in case it wasn't. Why WHY in the name of all that is holy is this not a feature? If i want the desktop site, and set's it manually it usually loads just fine. But if i sneeze or think about changing tabs or clicking a link, it reverts to the crappy mobile version... I want it to default to the desktop site.....

I'm using Firefox Nightly for Android and am able to use "unsupported" extensions via custom add-on collections. I'm adding extensions to my collection using the search bar but apparently only Desktop extensions show up. This particular extension is the most essential for me but I can't find it via the search bar. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/android-pdf-js/

How can I add it to my collection? Looking at this collection gave me the impression that it's possible: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/collections/5149765/android/ but how?

In Android when opening any links from any App, they open in the App. There is an option to disable in-app links in some apps but not in all and it is lengthy to do it one by one. In chromium browsers we can disable them with this option called custom pages (might be called little bit different) where if it is turned off, the apps will open links in browser fully no matter their settings.

Is there a way like this in Firefox? The option called Open Links in Apps does not seem to be working as I have it turned off but it still lets Apps open links in themselves.

Hi,

Is there any way to disable the pop-up switch notification which reads "New tab opened Switch"?

I'm talking about the momentary button on the bottom.onnthe screen which provides a way to immediately switch over to the newly opened tab (the colored one).

For clarification, I want to disable ONLY the momentary notification itself, not the ability to open links in new tabs. I've installed a custom add-on which opens new tabs automatically, so the notification is now redundant (and annoying).

Thanks!

I'm using Firefox for Android.

On previous phones (Moto) when I was on e.g. Twitter and clicked to upload a photo, one of options was the Google Photos app

Now on a new phone (Samsung) I do not have that option. See attached image.

Is there a way to add the Photos app? Is this a Firefox thing, a permissions thing, a phone OS thing, or what?

Thanks for any help
