When switching to another app from Firefox and then switching back to firefox, the webpage reloads. This is not a memory issue, I have enough RAM and it happens even if I only have 1 tab open. This is a major pain when I need to enter a 2FA code and need to swith apps to get the code. Or if I'm watching a YouTube video and get a call, the youtuve page reloads after the call has ended. Please suggest how to fix this.

Since Android 12, many apps can take "scrolling screenshots" that capture more than just the currently-visible part of the screen, with an aptly labeled "capture more" button. I noticed that when screenshotting a webpage in Firefox Android, I don't have the option to do this. When screenshotting the same webpage in a Chromium browser, I do. (See screenshots: 1st is Firefox, 2nd is Chrome)

Is this a bug, or a known FF limitation? Is it on the devs' roadmap?

I bought a new android (Samsung) tablet. I want to sync all the tabs I have on my Windows PC to the tablet. I am not tech savvy.. further, why can't the Firefox page that shows all my saved tabs and bookmarks look the same on my tablet? sheesh...

I am writing to report an issue with the page frequently auto-refreshing. This feature causes a significant disruption, especially when I am in the middle of entering information into data fields, such as forms, passwords, or One-Time Passwords (OTPs).

Every time the page automatically refreshes, all the data I have input is lost, forcing me to restart the process from the very beginning. This happens repeatedly and is extremely frustrating.

I request that this auto-refresh functionality be disabled. It would be much better if the refresh action could only be initiated manually by the user. This would ensure that data being entered remains intact without interruptions that cause the process to restart.

For the past few months, videos on YouTube haven't been playing properly. They load just fine and there's no issues with the auto, but once the video starts playing it will sometimes be zoomed into the top left corner, making it impossible to properly see what's going on.

This happens with music videos too, both official and lyrical. It will be zoomed in close to the top left corner and just barely catches what's going on in the video. Sometimes, video do play like they're supposed to, but for the most part, they'll be zoomed in as soon as I hit play.

This thing is driving me nuts,I started watching a video and it would start over and over,then it's comes up your time is timed out,I need to finish this this weekend, please fix the problem.

Hello, Long time user and lover. Never had any problems with your great browser. This past week, on my phone, Firefox has been flagged "high battery background usage" and is continuously trying to put app to deep sleep. What has happened? How do I stop this? Translation extension on firefox doesn't have an option for translating Chinese. I downloaded all the available languages and Chinese was not among them however I have found in the past that Chinese is the language which I most often come across sites,web pages, apps,etc written in and needing translated into English.

Firefox for Andoird crashes every time tab listing opened. If I do "about:crashes" i see the attached list of crashes ...

"java.lang.IllegalArgumentException..."

I tried clearing cache but it didn't help.

Whilst viewing news stories in Google, I keep getting pages that do not load, so I go to settings – apps- Firefox, scroll down to memory and clear the cache. I go bag to Google new click the link and most of the time I am taken to the page and can read the article (but not every time). But the page not loading happens frequently and it is becoming a pain having to clear the cache over and over again. Is there a shortcut I can use to reach Firefox memory or is there a way of stopping Firefox to clear the cache as it is created.

Firefox beta usually works OK but random webpages either take ages to load or even hang indefinitely. Most of the responses I've seen on this subject simply ask for more info re websites, extensions etc but other browsers don't have these problems, so it looks like a core Firefox thing.

It started with Amazon/Kindle. Couldn't buy books through the Amazon App so I had a workaround which put me into the full site amazon.co.uk. Not anymore. Firefox redirects me into the App regardless. I can only get into the full site now by uninstalling Amazon Shopping. That's silly. Now, Firefox is blocking legitimate site links from my emails, like Greenpeace, for example. Variations on "site blocked" messages. Switching to DuckDuckGo avoids all these issues. My device is Tecno pova 5g (TECNO LH8n) The chrome browser works really well in this phone but Firefox is laggy the pages load slower & sluggish despite of 120hz display it only support 60hz.

The browsing experience is also laggy the navigation in twitter is so laggy but when i use chrome its fine i hate chrome i have always been loyal to firefox in computer if this is slow in android i will still choose to use it once loyal always loyal.

I am king of my own kingdom willing to invest in firefox wellfare. never remove ublock origin from his position he is one of my greatest knight.
