I just finished setting up my new pc with Windows 11 (Feb 2023 updates) and installed Firefox 110.0.1) and wanted to transfer my logins, passwords, etc, from my Android 12 Phone's Firefox 110.1.0, and other pcs. A window popped up giving instructions how to sync my phone, as follow:

• • • Sync Firefox on you phone or tablet. 1) open Firefox on your Mobile Device. 2) Go to the menu (<ios>&<android>menu examples shown) and tap sync and save data. 3. Tap ready to scan and hold your phone over this code.***

I'm 73, have used Firefox since first release in 2004. In all these years I have never seen SYNC in the instructions to "sync and save and to point the phone at a barcode-thingy" or at least not in this world. The instructions made it seem like SYNC was right there to see, but I had to dig thru layes of options to finally find it. You can blaim it on my 73 yr old brain, I guess, but nothing like these instructions exist in Windows or Android firfox. What in the world are your programmers smokin' these days. I would just as soon open up Edge or Chrome and did up the passwords I need to log into my banking and creditcard accounts...heck, it seems like MAYBE I should just dump Firefox after almost 20 years and just use those other browsers. At least there instructions are much simpler that this ol' man can follow. Please have someone review your published helps info on your webpages, and help those Sr. citizens like me to more easily find what we need without calling up grandsons or granddaughters for help (their parents are worse than I am at most techy stuff!) Through lunch overboard I can't employee problems Chrome to Firefox on the same Samsung A7 or my A8 tablet. I followed directions and cannot call me most people think ing we got to help.

I've had no issues with Firefox Sync on desktop but frequent issues on Android.

Yesterday, it failed in a different way, announcing that I needed to sign into Sync. I've tried a dozen times yesterday and today using both QR scan and email confirmation. All fail in various ways. For example:

• After scanning QR code: "500 Error Oh dear, something went wrong there"
• After scanning QR code: "Pairing not successful. Error while creating the pairing channel"
• After scanning QR code and approving on mobile device and desktop, desktop says success, but phone stays on "Approval now required from your other device" Interestingly this page isn't open in the normal browser. If I click the three dot menu, it says "POWERED BY FIREFOX, Open in Firefox"
• After going through all the steps and it saying "You're signed into Firefox," yet when I go to share a tab, it asked me to sign in.

Any tips on getting Firefox Sync to work? I don't see any troubleshooting sections in the online help articles.

Dear support, Emergency my needs help. Around 10 year plus I am using Mozilla Firefox account and my all data backup, password, web bookmark etc save in my Mozilla account ([edited] @gmail.com ) . But suddenly this month I change my PC windows and after install Mozilla Firefox and login my Mozilla account I can't find my old data, bookmark, password in my Mozilla account, it's so dangerous for me if I loss this . Please sir as soon as possible fixed my problem and help me to find my all Mozilla account sync data.

I've been using Firefox Nightly for Android and Firefox for Android for years without issue. I've left Nightly at build 68.5a1 as it has several features that later bulds removed. I sync across all my mobile devices but NOT with my desktop. When a website requires a newer browser version to run, then I switch to plain Firefox.

Today Nightly would NOT open. It opened and pointed to an offline file. I noticed it was marked by "///". I'm sorry I didn't take a screenshot or note the file.

Reading several posts, I removed Nightly, purged the cash and purged the data. Then I reinstalled Nightly from the apk file I saved. While the install went without a hitch, it will NOT permit me to sign in to synch the data saved in all my other devices. It just spins as this image shows.

I read a post indicating a direct url for sign in and tried it. But it only worked for Firefox and NOT Nightly.

How do I resolve this?

I have a new Android cellphone and my Unlock Firefox Password did not transfer to my new phone. How do I set a new Unlock Firefox Password. I'm so frustrated. Thank you for any help you can give.

So I recently switched my mobile browser to firefox, but I can't get the passwords to synch completely.

Settings on desktop and mobile firefox both have password synch enbled. But the saved passwords I can access on mobile is significantly lower than the passwords I have on desktop.

I'm not too sure if this is related but more than half or majority of my desktop firefox passwords were imported from chrome. I'm not too sure if the passwords that are not synching to mobile, if they were the ones imported from chrome. I switched from firefox to chrome to firefox again so it's hard to tell.

I'm following instructions on computer. On Android I can't find 'sync and save data' option as instructed. I tried finding it in three dots and in settings as well. I'm signed in on both devices with the same email.
