Hello, I'm writing to describe a recurring problem I'm facing while using Firefox on my Android device, and I need your help to find a solution.

The issue is that my tabs keep getting accidentally deleted when I scroll up and down. The touchscreen on my device is highly sensitive, and simple scrolling often triggers the "left or right swipe" action, causing the current tab to close. This is incredibly frustrating as I like to keep my tabs organized, and having to reopen them repeatedly is time-consuming.

I've tried looking for a solution in the Firefox for Android settings config:about, but I haven't been successful so far. Is there any way to disable or adjust this feature so that left swiping no longer closes my tabs?

I'm a dedicated Firefox user and would like to continue using this browser, but this problem is significantly impacting my browsing experience. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with a solution to this issue.

Firefox recently got so much slower than normal. Usually it will take 5-10sec to load a full page .Now it loads very slow that I don't know how much time it takes to fully load the page.please help me with this problem. Thankyou

When I put a video or an image gallery to full screen, the navigation buttons, clock, and status bar don't hide.

They often appear as though they're going to hide, for a split second, but frustratingly bounce right back into view.

On rare occasions, it seems to be random chance, the status bar, clock, and navigation buttons do hide, but I don't know how to get them to hide every time.

I've already tried disabling picture in picture for the app but that has not helped.

What are the reasons the buttons and clock would not hide in full screen? How would we go about fixing things?

As the title suggests, I'm having an issue with the navigation bar. It remains at the bottom of the screen even when I have the least need for it, which makes the content of the screen glitchy. It may not sound like much, but it's very annoying and ruins the whole browsing experience, especially when watching videos. Because of the unwanted navigation bar, even a slight touch on the screen causes the videos or pages, but mostly videos, to move around left and right when in landscape mode. As you can see in one of the screenshots I sent, the video is not even visible, it's just a black screen, which is a different issue that I faced for the first time but I am not sure how often I'll get that in future but it's there.

If anyone can suggest a fix for this issue,(the one with the navigation bar and jumpy video screen) such as a setting that I can turn on or off to get rid of the navigation bar, it would be greatly appreciated.

Firefox is working in background and draining the battery. That what I see in battery usage information. I have tried to limit and stopped Firefox but it is still on the top of battery usage.

On Firefox for Android, I get "Proxy is refusing connection" error while attempting to connect to any site on the Internet. But I didn't configure any proxy connection for Firefox! Moreover, this error happens when I use my home Wi-Fi network, but browser works properly when using cellular data or any other Wi-Fi network. Also, browser works for some time if I start VPN (Psiphon in my case), stop Firefox through Android settings, clear cache and start the browser again.

We use about ten Android tablets running Firefox in our shop for our employees to enter on a webpage daily some informations. Tablets are programmed to keep display active 24h/7d, firefox is pinned so the app stay opened and users don't go to other app. The extension LeechBlock NG prevent users from accessing other webistes. Everything work well except on mondays morning.

Without fault first person to try to connect on the website will see the app crash to the desktop. Since the app is pinned user will have to wait for a supervisor to come in and unpin the crashed (and invisible) app, re-launch it and pin it. Then it will work all week without issue as long as the tablet is used at least once a day. We recently added a new tablet which is used less than others and that one does crash during the week but never twice in same day. Wondering if someone can help me decypher this to fix/prevent it. Is it the extension or browser itself that cause the crash if the page hasn't changed long enough? Thanks for suggestions (I will not consider "have you tried without the extension" as a valid suggestion)

Using the latest version of Firefox on Android mobile – Huawei / EMUI 12.0.0.149 Normal browsing, not using Private.

Several tabs are open, all specified to show Desktop view. But when I re-open the browser (while it's still running in the background, e.g. if I'd been using a different app or just hadn't looked at the page in a few mins), pages automatically refresh in Mobile view.

Additionally, the "Desktop site" toggle can get stuck: Shows Desktop being on, but the page is in Mobile view and if the button is tapped again, it just keeps refreshing in Mobile. The whole app has to be restarted to fix it.

Ideally, open tabs would stay in the specified view (Desktop) and not refresh automatically. Bonus, if there were also a master toggle to select the view you prefer all tabs to use.

I am experiencing a problem with one specific website, zerohedge.com. Whenever I use the back button to return from an article to the home page, the page appears completely blank, and I am forced to refresh it every time. This is happening on the Android version of Firefox, version 111.1.1 (Build #2015941331) with NoScript and PrivacyBadger add-ons installed.

I have not made any changes to the settings, and this problem has only started occurring about a week ago. I have never observed this behavior before.

A recent update has broken the ability to upload images. I am on a Pixel 7. Firefox has full rights. I tried clearing cache. It is not a particular website. This one for instance, allows the option of uploading images to attach.to my question and it doesn't work. Hoping someone has a fix so I can keep using the browser.

Noticed my phone having terrible battery life, from battery usage you can see that Firefox is highly likely one of the main culprits. I have observed the same over a few days on the last two Firefox builds. I uninstalled the app and re installed it after that there is no icon on the app drawer nor in the home screen. I have to open the app every time through play store. I have attempted to fix it myself by uninstalling and re installing to thinking its temporary a glitch but icon stills doesn't appear anywhere. It doesn't even get shown in app drawer search results when i search for Firefox. I have further cleared device cache using builtin cleaner app provided within the device. Also restarted my device nothing worked

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. Formatted my phone but playing videos still lags and stutters on Firefox browser on my Samsung. Only happens on Firefox, I've tested on Qwant, Duckduckgo and Brave and this problem doesn't occur. What might be the problem and solution?

It's interesting that sometimes the video plays fine until I unmute it. Sometimes the problem goes away after I stop and play or refresh the page. I often have to play the video on a different browser.

So, videos work fine on other browsers so I discart being a phone problem. But on my other phone this problem doesn't happen with firefox.

I've been for several months looking for help/answer/fix for this issue. And I've been with firefox for ever and I don't mind minor bugs and problems but this is starting to be a bit annoying and more and more I feel like I need to move on to a new browser.

The problem is I'm getting the "Unexpected response from server" message when trying to open any web page. Could you try to solve this without me updating the android version? My phone is not new and quick in the terms of performance so I do not update the OC. Please find the error examples, broeser version and my phone's system info attached in a form of screenshots.
