Hi,

I'm quite annoyed about the new Android Firefox menu update. It takes up so much more space on the screen for not really adding any extra usability and the New Tab button is entirely gone in spite of there being plenty of space to have included it. Where did it go? I'd really prefer to have it back.

Before the update that just dropped, whenever I would open the app, it would open in private browsing by default. After the update it opens a regular non private tab. Any way to fix this?

On android, it is possible to change the search engine of the search bar on the home screen. There you can select a Search Engine App, like Google, Qwant or Startpage.

However, Firefox is currently not available as a selectable option there. Adding it there would make it possible for those searches to be handled by firefox.

Hi, I dont understand the new improvements since the default tab is no longer private and i cannot follow the google tips, as I miss thr history options. My version is

Everytime I try to save an Image or video file, Firefox on Android just says download failed without explaining how or why.

I've tried clearing the cache. I've tried clearing download and search history. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

I don't know what else to do.

I cannot find anywhere on my Firefox browser where I can export my personal bookmarks to another browser (Duck, Duck go). I do not like the most recent Firefox update, changing my everything Firefox!

Unless I'm mistaken, the Android Firefox app used to have group tabs and was replaced by Collections. Personally, I find it less user friendly and requires more clicks while ending up with a worse version of what Group Tabs accomplished. It essentially operates as a weird mix of Group Tabs and Bookmarks while being worse than both.

Cons of Collections:

• There is no differentiation between tabs in a collection and not in a collection.
• There is no quick swapping between tabs in a collection.
• There is no option to Close all tabs in a collection but there is one to Open all tabs. This just looks messy.
• Collections can only be opened from Homepage, not the Tabs screen.
• Saving a collection requires long-press, select tab(s), tap Collection icon, then select a Collection. Group tabs requires longpress, select multiple, tap group icon OR drag and stack tabs.

Pros of Collections:

• Neatly stored on Homepage instead of taking up a Tab slot on Tab page. (which could be fixed be programming group tabs ability to be stored on Homepage and re-opened with option).

All in all it is just a 5/10 feature in functionality. Even less so when taking into account that Android Firefox also has Bookmarks and Shortcuts. Please go back to drawing board on this one, it's really one feature I miss about Chrome (and what I thought Firefox used to have).

Every time I use a card to pay for something on android at least havent tried on pc it asks to [expletive] update the expiration date even though it's always the same and it's getting [expletive] annoying how do I turn this off

I Made a mistake gerne in my Smartphone with " Firefox!

I took the wrong Language in a mask . It was an "Arabic language", i Font understand.

So my Problem ist now, to take the language " german " / "deutsch" , in a mask which i can't read !!!???

I have been a user of Firefox Android for years, During all this time, I defaulted my Tabs View to the Private Tabs View for higher security. I would only move to a Standard non-Private Tabs View on rare occasions.

Now, suddenly in the past several days, when I select my browser, it no longer defaults to the Private View. Rather, it goes directly to the standard Tabs View and I must select the Private Tabs View manually. This occurs every time I exit my browser and return. Has there been a change recently applied that no longer allows me a Private Tabs View upon selecting my browser? If so, I do not approve. Just say'n Development team - not good! It's a step backwards in the product's design as it applies to user intuitiveness and security. Once set, I liked having my preference for Private Tabs saved without me intervening to manually select the option in every instance.

I currently have annual subscriptions for both Monitor+ & VPN. How do I get credit for the remainder of both subscriptions applied to the $8.25/mo. Privacy Protection Plan? I tried to upgrade through my Mozilla account profile & it was only going to credit from Monitor+.

I looked through all of the FAQs before writing this. There was a question about upgrading from VPN & Relay, but not specifically upgrading from VPN & Monitor+ annual subscriptions.

Also, will/does the Privacy Protection Plan still cover 5 devices that the stand alone VPN does?

Jump to Firefox browser within the app, and there is no translation button in the upper right corner menu.All browsers in the Chromium series have this function, whether it is Chrome or Edge, I hope a translation button can be added.

syncing bookmarks between Android Mobile and desktop through shared Mozilla account, but the bookmarks from mobile aren't appearing on the desktop. I can see that both devices are logged in, but cannot see bookmarks being shared.

I have been unable to use autofill for credit/debit cards for months now. It simply does nothing after I choose the card and successfully authenticate biometrics.

I have tried removing and reading cards. I have tried switching from beta to regular (I'm on a note 9). At a total loss and this is super frustrating. I am 100% sure autofill, sync, and remember cards are on.
