I have disabled navigation toolbar as soon as it was turned on, as it wastes a significant amount of screen height to expose controls I need rarely enough I prefer them in the menu. Suddenly, pull to refresh has stopped working, unless I go and turn navigation toolbar back on in secret settings, which is frustrating, as I need it more without navigation toolbar and might in theory need it less if I was inclined to use navigation toolbar. i like firefox on my cell phone as well as on my pc, but i encounter a problem on my tablet. The screen is big enough that I could display my bookmarks bar permanently (as well as tabs). if I want to look up several things quickly, which would certainly be possible with my tablet with keyboard and mouse, I can't even do that because I can't open the bookmarks that quickly.

however, i can understand that this is not permanently implemented, but i would like to have a customization option via on/off in the settings and while we are on the subject, an option to switch tabs on/off like on the desktop like the page marker permanently on desktop mode would be really nice.

of course it could be that these options already exist, then it would be that i am too stupid to find them because i really couldn't imagine that they don't exist and have already rummaged through all the options.

It is impossible to trigger a doubleclick or from some tests, extremelly difficult to do. I calculated that in order to trigger a doubleclick, the 2 clicks needs to be somewhat no more than 0.08 seconds aparts. :That's wrog and inaccessible, the value should be between 0.4 and 0.8, NOT 0.08.

I noticed that on Brave or any chromium based browser (Android), I would be able to just simple highlight part of an URL and then the whole url would be automatically selected. This behaviour is not possible on Firefox (Android) and I would have to manually select the whole URL myself. Please see here for a clearer picture: demonstration Is there a setting that I can possibly turn on to have the same function as in Brave or chromium browsers?

1. When we press Home button in the app toolbar, It opens a new tab and sends the active tab in background instead of closing the tab. The correct working of Home button is to show Homepage in current tab. For opening new tab, we can use "New Tab" option. Because of this all tabs keep getting stored in background and it's quote irritating.

2. Same for back swipe gesture, the tab gets stored in background instead of closing. For example, I clicked on an Article in Google Feed, it redirects to Firefox, now after reading the article, I swiped back to go back to Google Feed. Now swiping back gesture doesn't close the active tab, instead it stored the tab in background. Because of this too much tabs gets stored in background and need manual effort to remove the tabs.

So, Fix these two features.

I have been using Firefox for Android Beta for several years in various phones. I recently bought a new phone and the browser no longer shows an option to "Quit" when I touch the three dots on the right side of the search bar. As a result, some websites stay connected after the browser is closed. When I restart the browser I am still logged in to the websites. How can I change this? I have to use Firefox to access my bank accounts as my version of chrome is no longer supported. However the magnification of the pages is too great in Firefox for me to use full page options. How can I reduce magnification of a Firefox page?

I recently migrated from Brave to Firefox and noticed that whenever I try to use the android back button it brings me back to the home screen instead of to the last page I was at. Is there any way to make it just go back a page instead of to the home screen?

Why won't web pages show in dark mode and are still white. So far the only browser I have seen that will also darken a web page is the standard Samsung browser. Love Firefox on my computer but on a tablet the darkening of web pages from the bright white is crucial. How can this be fixed?

I am posting this issue at the request of E from Firefox's app developer feedback after I submitted an app review.

The app continues to be unstable on my Pixel 6a (latest OS, Android 13) after freezing up on what appears to be any heavily scrolled pages or those that create a heavy cache. This freezing then causes abrupt phone restarts shortly thereafter, but not always immediately. Usually the culprit seems to be linked to Facebook album viewing, Imgur albums with article-length descriptions, etc. The abrupt phone restarting occurs whether force stopping Firefox and clearing the cache right away or not (although the restarts seem to happen faster if I force stop the app). I have simply closed the app during the freeze, put my phone down, and come back minutes or hours later to it having restarted on its own.

In addition, open tabs have a tendency to lose their scroll spots on a non-infinitely-scrolling page (e.g. an article not requiring expanding) when the app is minimized but not closed. This is probably unrelated(?) and isn't as critical as the spontaneous restarts, however.

It looks like many Pixel 6a users have had this issue, although those support threads from 8-9 months ago have now been archived. Someone else mentioned scripts from the websites themselves may be to blame? Would be curious to hear of any specific fixes. Thanks!

I am writing to report a problem with the context menu in Firefox for Android. I am very dissatisfied with how it is designed and I would like to have more control over it.

First of all, there are too many options from other apps that I do not use, which clearly take up space and I want to remove them, but I cannot. They are irrelevant to my browsing experience and they clutter the menu.

Secondly, I do not like that despite the bulkiness of the context menu, it only displays 2-3 items, and to get to the one I need, I have to scroll through the menu several times, which is extremely inconvenient. For instance, I often want to copy text, but this option is hidden at the bottom of the menu. It would be much easier if it were visible at the top or have the ability to build the context menu for my needs.

In other words, there is a bulky and inconvenient menu, which also has unnecessary and annoying options that I cannot do anything about, because apparently, the ability to customize and change the context menu is removed in the Android version.

I need to change the page size. I don't want to Zoom in or out I want to make the whole page bigger. Right now I can only see 1/3 of the page at a time. If anyone can help me I will really appreciate it. Thank you very much.
