I like mozilla browsers like Firefox, Firefox Focus and Other version like Fennec(F-Droid) ( I think it's not maintained by Mozilla, anyways leave it)

My default browser in settings is Firefox Focus and even after keeping it as default I got a prompt to choose between different browsers and I have choosen Firefox Focus again for Always but I don't understand why Firefox(Release/Stable version) kept overriding the default settings by itself without my permission, I don't understand how it can make itself as default browser engine? I want Firefox Focus to be default but Firefox kept on annoying me by making itself default, so I just deleted Firefox(Release) and Downloaded Fennec(F-Droid version), it's not causing this problem.

I hope, I have explained my problem as clearly as possible and I had downloaded that Firefox browser from Play Store and not anywhere else also it's the latest version. So it's not tampered and if you guys want details about my mobile

Device: Huawei's Honor 9 Lite LLD-AL10 Model, Android version 9 and EMUI version 9.1.0.

I haven't tested this bug or issue from other devices yet because currently I don't have anything else.

My English level is not very good. I use translation software. Please forgive my language mistakes. When restoring from the background, all web pages will be reloaded. When restoring from the background, any web page with the label < header class > will cause the page to jump at the beginning and end of < header class >.

Hey new developement team you might as well remove and redo the entire support section. Tons of features, places we are pointed to-go to, options and whatever else were completely removed or moved to entirely different areas before the precovid developers were able to change it themselves upon being let go. Some spots the support points to more advanced features that the browser itself doesn't actually have anymore, because regressing 2015-1998 features somehow saves money? Removing features and functions that are up to 20+ yrs old seems like more work than just leaving them but what do I know... But the information on here is almost 5 yrs old now and desperately needs a complete rehaul. I don't know how many of ya they brought back but might want to play some catch up on one of the most important sections. I see tons of posts everywhere of people giving up and going to Brave or whatever instead because of this alone. Just as with a book, movie, whatever the beginning just as important as the end when it comes to capturing attention and sales..... Regards from every currently overly frustrated user that's also sick of/dealing with Windows (esp Win11) and Googles nonstop bombardment of bs.

I'm not sure if that's the right topic. I'm using Firefox for Android version 137.0.

1. A new problem has popped up. Whenever I have a field/box to type in (I like this one), when I tap in that box the keyboard pops up, of course. The problem is, when I have typed enough to fill that box, instead of scrolling up so I can continue typing, the box falls below/behind the keyboard.

Sometimes, I can raise it back above the keyboard, but the moment I start typing again it falls right back behind the keyboard again. Makes it really difficult to type.

Note: It didn't happen in this text box, but it seems to happen in every other text box I type in on any other site.

2. It would be really, really great If you would give us a way to search for open tabs. When you're on a phone and you can only see a handful of tabs at once, it's really difficult to find what you're looking for when there are lots of tabs open.

3. Kind of in connection with that, it would also be wonderful if we could move more than one tab at a time. I can select as many tabs as I want, although I don't know why because it will not let me move those selected tabs as a group. I can only move one at a time.

For example, I might want to search (item 2) for all the Amazon tabs I have open. Then, I want to select all those tabs, and move them (item 3) all together to a different spot to keep them all in one place. Or, even better, put them in some sort of group tab called Amazon within my list of open tabs .

It would be similar to opening a new window in Windows and keeping all my Amazon tabs in that window.

Note: I got no indication that this got submitted to the community when I hit the submit button, so I tried again. And still nothing seems to happen when I hit the submit button. It does not say it was submitted. I don't get a check mark and it get support part of the process. I just can't seem to submit these questions.

Back button jumps back two pages. Happened on Google search. Cannot recreate on demand.

Also goes back to previous search if select a new search from the autofill drop down(recommended searches?) twice.

Ex. "I searched Scotiabank, then select Scotiabank phone number from suggested searches. Once there, I select Scotiabank customer service chat but instead of getting those results it sends me back to the original Scotiabank search results."

It doesn't always happen with here but can always seem to recreate by using the back button.

After a recent update to Firefox for Android, many websites have a bug where the onscreen keyboard will pop up and block the textbox. In order to view the text being typed, I have to manually scroll down to the position of the textbox. When the textbox loses focus, I have to again manually scroll back to the the position of the textbox in the page. I'm using a Google Pixel 8a.

Since a week or so, everytime I try to add or remove something to my search it ends up kinda moved. If I click the space bar the word prior is completely removed and when using backspace the space between the two words prior disappears. Tried different search engines(Google, Ecosia and DuckDuckgo) in Firefox and it happens in everywhere. Reinstalling didn't fix the problem. This doesn't happen in other Apps, only in Firefox. I'm using the Firefox Browser for Android.

Stop keyboard and QR scan from appearing when app opened. If I want keyboard then I will tap search. I have pinned sites and bookmarks I use first and usually don't use search. Using search less with all the tracking and always wrong AI assumptions. Keyboard doesn't disappear when search is tapped. Doesn't disappear when screen is tapped. Obscures results. Been a problem for years.

I have notice that firefox android v136.0.1 consume more battery than the onther famous browser (edge, chrome, bhave) in android 14. I request to make firefox android battery efficient.
