I would like to either turn off the swipe-up shortcut to access Firefox search from the on-screen navigation keys, or turn off Firefox Search entirely on v35.0 Android. There does not seem to be an option to turn it off in the settings, nor is there a separate app entry to disable. Is there a way to disable this shortcut or the search function entirely?

I open tabs on Firefox on my phone and video autoplays in background tabs. I don't have unlimited data, and I don't like the sudden audio blaring out when I'm trying to be discreet. Is there any way to stop this? Other than this issue, I really like firefox. Thanks in advance for your help.

I am having a terrible problem with comments I previously typed (primarily in FB) taking over my screen when I am trying to type a new comment. I am unable to see what I am typing and all my previous comments show up for me to insert. If I click on one of the previous comments, it inserts it into the space where I am trying to type. There seems to be no way to close the suggestions and get them off the screen. I never, ever want to say the same thing twice. Can I please get rid of this function entirely? I am using an Asus Nexus 7 with the latest version of Android. Thank you, I just can't seem to find a way to fix this.

I have used Firefox for years but have just got an android mobile which I was hoping to sync my bookmarks to.

I have set up syncing on the pc, and linked my mobile (it tells me that it is syncing and the time it did it)

Now, whilst I am not used to the mobile yet, when I open Mozilla Firefox for android there is no sign of the actual bookmarks that it has synced!!!!!!!!!!

I am unsure where they are displayed as I can see no folder option only a tab to the right of the "Top Sites" tab and there is only: 1. firefox about.. 2. Firefox, Customize.... and 3. Firfox support..... AND at this point I am totally stuck.

Please if you can help I would be very grateful thank you.

This issue is driving me nuts! I'll load a few sites in tabs, leave FF to write an email or check my inbox and when I return to the FF app the tabs refresh themselves automatically. This is especially annoying when I've visited a website and typed out a long winded paragraph, or filled out a form consisting of my name, address, email, etc etc..... and when I leave the FF app to do something else for a mere second and then return to FF, EVERYTHING I'VE TYPED OUT IS GONE thanks to this annoying refresh. It's also time consuming to be constantly waiting for sites I've already loaded to REload themselves. I've done some reading about this & the term "LMK" appears to relevant to this issue, now, is there ANY way to FORCE FF to utilize more memory or force FF to "keep open" somehow? Maybe an about:config setting?

I would very much appreciate someone "in the know" to respond back with ANY sort of fix or tweak for this.

Thankyou.

I just installed Firefox on my Toshiba Thrive Android Tablet & would like to be able to just click on an icon on the desk-top to be able to browse the web. I already have a short-cut icon on the desk-top of this tablet called 'BROWSER'...which brings me to the Google browser...is this still OK to use? I have been using this for years. I only installed this Firefox thing cuz I rec'd a 'security message to do so. I really don't know what this is for...if it's supposed to be a Replacement for the Google browser Or if it is a Back up for the Google browser. Also, if I go from an Email link to a web site, it now gives me the option to do this using Firefox, which May be what this is for & is fine...but I don't see an 'X' to close the web site after viewing it on your Firefox browser. Thank you.

Why is the user not given the choice of connecting to "Untrusted Websites" (or websites with bad SSL certificates) ? This option is present in the desktop browser, under the advanced options section, but not in the app. Makes it irritating when trying to connect to intranet websites where security is often poorly implemented and doesn't matter anyway.
