Can't move Collections from my old phone to my new phone I have pressed sync BTW it still doesn't appear on the new phone. The photo is the two Collections containing 100 web addresses each on my old phone.

I have noted from a web search that the subject of Javascript in Firefox (Android) has caused issues for some users of this browser.

I understand that JavaScript is now enabled by default in the standard version of Firefox (Android). It appears that once upon a time there was a config setting that could be tweaked to switch JavaScript on or off, but that setting may no longer work. Additionally, I also understand there are add-ons for the Android version of Firefox that can, amongst other things, apparently switch JavaScript on or off.

People here might be surprised to learn that the minimalist Firefox Focus (Android) browser already has a built-in, easily accessible, switch to turn JavaScript on or off:

Settings > Privacy & Security > Web Content > Block JavaScript

So, the point I would like to raise with Mozilla (but it seems to be impossible to contact them directly) is, if it is available in Firefox Focus (Android), why the heck is this switch not available in the mainstream, standard version of Firefox (Android)? It makes absolutely no sense not to have it, surely?

I would suggest that a good place to include a JavaScript switch would be in the 'Site permissions' section of Firefox (Android) settings. It is merely a suggestion as, for example, within the rather useful competitor Vivaldi (Android) browser there is such a switch located here:

Settings > WEB PAGES > Site settings > JavaScript

As for why there should be a JavaScript switch within Firefox (Android), that question is largely irrelevant. Mozilla have already seen a need to include it in Firefox Focus (Android), so what possible good reason could there be for not including it in Firefox (Android)? It mystifies me, and it's omission is an inconvenience too.

Does anyone here have a sensible answer to this question?

I try using the pair feature but each time I scan, I get a page showing "Did you use the system camera? You must pair from within the Firefox app" Even though I did pair from the Firefox app. I have tried multiple times, always the same issue. Before Firefox for Android v100 it was possible to show only pinned sites in the top sites section in the home screen. Now alongside my pinned sites (currently 3) there are 2 rows of 4 sites and 2 pages. All these other sites are pages related to my work, full of test URLs, 500 or 404 pages... and so on. How do I revert it to the old behavior?

i have a few websites added to top sites and show on homepage, but after the last update, the history record shows after the top sites.

i need a option to hide the history highlights on homepage.

I used to be able to place shortcuts that I wanted on the Firefox homepage now it seems to be my history or nothing. Can we go back to allowing customised homepage. I don't want random stuff.

Hi, I don't like everytime I visited sites and closing that tab it auto show in home page. Yes, I know I set it by the time I closing the browser it clear it. I'm browsing in Android phone. I only like homepage show my manually add sites' shortcut. Nothing alse.

I cannot rename saved Bookmarks. I can go through the process but after finishing, the Bookmark is NOT renamed in the Bookmarks list.

This is very inconvenient. This needs to be fixed. I am using a Samsung Galaxy A12 phone.

Another unrelated question is concerning coping and pasting URLS. I can't paste them elsewhere but I guess that needs to be addressed separetly.

I am new to firefox mobile browser. I am not sure how much web security will provide by this app. I am using MS Edge browser in computer and Google Chrome in mobile but I never found any virus or any security issues till now . Thank you.

How can I donate to mozilla as an Indian user? Currently, mozilla doesn't accept rupay cards, which is mainly used in India. PayPal also doesn't work in India. We have an alternative PayTM for it. Is there any way to donate without using visa or Mastercard?

When is Mozilla bringing back the "page" feature (or just a "print" command) so that users can print directly from the browser? This missing feature has been noted by countless support requests over the last two years. It's clearly something your user base wants. If Mozilla doesn't want its browser to go the way of Internet Explorer, it needs to listen to its customers.
