Firefox for Android Support Forum

I have firefox and Adobe Reader. I can download pdf but when I try to open the choices for "open with" don't show adobe Reader. I reset the tablet but still no adobe choice. Adobe is installed. Is there a setting to allow adobe to be chosen as "open with"?

I just want to be able to click an X to close Firefox on my Android phone and have it come up with my default homepage from scratch the next time I launch it. I do NOT want to have to kill the app or hit the back button a billion times, competing with pages trying to reload content, before I can get back to the first page loaded on launch then close. Once I've found what I'm looking for it's no longer needed and if I do want to return to it I can set a bookmark. Please consider this feature request.

Android 4.4 .phone Have live webpage. How do I bookmark it so that it goes into unsorted so that either on the phone or on other computer it can be put into place. So far it seems to join bookmarks but not in any category and fails to appear elsewhere by sync.

Hello.. I need help to know one thing. I just on my laptop Firefox on Windows and i have Firefox for Android... Is it possible to sync both so that "my favorites"... Meaning all my bookmarks from Firefox on my laptop are acessibleand viewable from my mobile's Firefox..? Thanks

It started crashing yesterday, so I tried to use it several times but it kept crashing. My Nook started acting weird right after that, it would restart it self but get stuck, so I had to turn it off. It did that several times then seemed fine. I tried using Firefox again after 24 hrd but it crashed again and wouldn't even let me send report. Then right away all my programs stsrted flashing that they were stopping and then it tried to restart it self again and got stuck again. I was freaked out thatit was damaging my Nook so I tried to uninstall but it wouldn't finish it before jumping to restart again and getting stuck. I have left it off and putting this message thru on my phone. Please HELP me, thanks.

There is no way to access the Firefox settings in the Android app! Android hides the menu icon on my phone, but not my tablet.

My phone has no hardware menu button. I found an article saying that if you long-touch any Firefox button, you can access the settings. The only button available to me is the tabs button, which when pressed or long-pressed only opens the tabs.

This is a development setback imo, that you cannot simply access settings by swiping or something.

   The menus on Android are highly simplified.

   First, to remove the unhelpful add-on, see: Uninstall Firefox for Android add-ons

   Then hopefully Firefox will return to default behavior because I don't think there is an equivalent "Applications" panel to associate PDFs back to the internal viewer.

MY RESPONSE Above recommendations didn't work after uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox on my Samsung Galaxy S3 running Android OS 4.4.2, most likely because I had no add-ons to remove except the automatically installed plugin OprnH264 Video Codec that can only be disabled or enabled.

ALSO When one gets a response to a question posted, where is the link to respond to posted suggestions?

Using Firefox for Android 44.0.2 I have no menu or reload buttons available within the browser.

Running Android 5.1.1 on OxygenOS (OnePlusX) - so my hardware buttons are assigned for other tasks on long press.
