I was just recently searching through Firefox which was using chrome
1. I was searching 'front to front, ink transfer, $1 dollar bill paper currency, variety, error' (i may have used a (,) after '$1 dollar bill,' ⬅as see right here and/OR I also may have used an (s) after 'varieties, errors' ⬅as seen here in quotes.
2. I had advanced the pages approximately 3 times, so I was under the 3rd page under the above (3) search possible keyword string searches.
3.i had clicked on a websight which would be the exact last site in my browser history before exiting and closing tabs, & erasing the data in both apps of chrome and firefox, which I'm on android.
4.when I clicked the site the infamous you are a winner of a brand new_____virus I assumed and I got really panicky.
5.i tried to press back it would not let me the thing popped up again. VERY QUICKLY and panicky it was a pop up on a blue back ground and something similar to 'you are a winner Firefox customer', so it specifically said Firefox and not chrome.
6. I SAW THE BLUISH PURPLE BOX FROM FIREFOX that notifies that it blocks trackers, only this time it said, 'virus detected, 60% downloaded, may damage your SIM card', it said other stuff, but I was very panicked, so I didn't read the rest.
7. I clicked on the tabs button and closed both tabs.
8. went to settings. App manager. Then 'cleared data' in both chrome and firefox.
9.updated lookout app and secured.
However, I was hoping that because I'm sharing whichever information with Firefox as per 'terms' I was hoping there is a possibility that since I was using chrome and firefox, that you would be able to fix this virus issues or report the information to whichever securities, y'all you for that kind of stuff, to fix it or may be track the people who have set it up etc. I am unaware of your prtcols with this kind of stuff, however, the screen did use the term 'firefox customer' so I don't know if they are targeting your customers or if it's programmed to just {fill in the blank here↪[_____]of whichever 'NAME' of the service provider}(of each victim)automatically, once clicked.
- at that time I was not logged in with an account as i didnt know about doing that, but I was signed into chrome, i believe under ... @gmail.com although I did erase my app history...i guess I should check if my browser history was paused in my gmail account at the time. If so maybe it's possible to find the exact site if requesting information from Google although I'd assume that you probably have the same access, at least to my browser history since I was using Firefox. I just don't know if me deleting the app info on my device if it might somehow hinder your further access, but I also assume you probably have the information backed up in servers for this type of access. Please let me know if you need some thing else through email. I'm sure you probably have my device credentials and ip address etc, phone number, especially now that I had to make an account to access the contact services , my account is under ... @gmail.com, to refer to the account I just made, if possible can you please update me about this matter if it is at all possible, not to much trouble or time, I greatly appreciate any efforts that whomever these emails go to and the support departmeant for the efforts made in making the internet safe as well, I'm greatly appreciative, sincerely THANK YOU, soo much. Have a woderfull day and hopefully a productive iniative in this effort. Thanks
