I need to do the simplest thing. I see a web page I want to get back to later. I bookmark it. Later today or tomorrow or whatever I try to find it. And that is borderline impossible. It's not something I categorize or file away in well defined folders for future reference. I just want to read it later. It it's go e, lost in no particular order in a cast list of bookmarks. All I want is to find these fairly recent bookmarks, read, and delete. Is that simplest of actions not possible?

I never understood why FF eliminated the “open with” option within Android. So as a work around I bookmarked my files by navigating to “file:///storage/emulated/0/Download/”. But now you can no longer navigate to “file:///storage/emulated/0/Download/”, it appears blank. My bookmarked files at these locations return a blank screen as well. Why does FF continue to make it more difficult to open local storage? How can I bookmark an HTML file saved on local storage?

I'm using the Firefox Sync to sync my bookmarks between my windows desktop and mobile. No problems with the sync itself, but on mobile, I have to click Menu / Bookmarks / Desktop Bookmarks / Bookmarks Menu to see my bookmarks. For a feature that is supposed to provide convenience, this seems to be very inconvenient.

Is there any way to get to my sync'd bookmarks faster on Android?

I have a Firefox account and am signed in on my desktop with a whole load of bookmarks. I have installed Firefox on my tablet and have signed in and selected sync bookmarks, they don't appear on my android Firefox. I,'ve checked settings and there are no other options available for displaying bookmarks, I'm drawing a complete and very frustrating blank, can anyone help, please?

How can I get my bookmarks back on the home/start page? Alternatively, how can I migrate bookmarks to collections?

NOTE: Existing solutions provided in the forums which were based on about:config usage have been effectively thwarted. Please provide suggestions which work for the Release version. (Yes, it makes life more difficult)

Just like the title, please help me export my Desktop Bookmarks from Android as Firefox Android has refused to sync for 5 days and a major update crash has left me without any bookmarks other than what is visible to Firefox on my Android devices.

I would like to have a link to a website on my android home screen. I know the function "Add to Home screen" (exactly "Installer" in french) but only the domain seems to be saved. By the way, is it possible to define the name of the shortcut? Renaming a bookmark as on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-add-shortcut-website-android#mobile::m85 doesn't work (any more). The long tip or the 3 dots have no "add shortcut" option and looking at "share" neither have such possibility.

Since the "upgrade" a few months back bookmarks are really awkward to access. They should be quickly accessible on the start page. But someone thought it would be a good idea to break it. This new version is supposedly "customizable" but only within a narrow limited set of options not including adding bookmarks to start page.

In general the new version is awkward and buggy (just crashed twice and reopened with closed tabs open). I just wish I could roll back to the old version.

I want to add a bookmark to a URL on my android home page. I found an answer on this site stating that I had to choose page on the menu from the page I want to bookmark. but there is non such option in the menu. On another post I found that it was possible from the bookmark screen, but on this screen the context menu of each entry only contains edit, copy, share, open .. end delete, but no option to add to home.

so how ?
