History tab view shows an image of tab value but does nothing when a tab is selected, opens a blank pane. Click-hold on tab thumbnail causes browser to crash. IOS Firefox current versions. iPhone SE 3rd gen.

Using Firefox iOS I can't access icloud.com. I get the message "your browser is not supported." Other browser work fine (safari and chrome) but not Firefox. I am using 116.2 (33536). Uninstall and re-install did not solve the problem

Webpage freezes randomly recently. Need to close the app manually every time and restart all the searches or type the website afterwards. Please fix the problem. I am using the most updated version of firefox in IOS.

Hello Since the release of 116 for iPhone, my iPhone 8 freezes. I have to switch the phone off and reboot it. Only for it to occur a few minutes later. I know from the comments on the App Store that I’m not the only one.

I’m running iOS 16.6, with around 21GB of free space.

Thanks for your prompt attention. I’m having to use the G**gle app to get round this problem, which doesn’t sit well with me.

Whenever firefox is running in the background waiting to be used, it crashes as soon as i click an external link or open the application from my home screen. Opening the app after not using it for 5 minutes causes the app to freeze, and won’t respond until the app is restarted completely.

Hi, this has happened twice recently where I have had a number of tabs open on firefox on my phone and suddenly they all vanish. They do not show up in recently closed. If they were marked inactive I have no way to access them. I have no idea what happened but it’s really frustrating as between the two times this has happened I have lost probably 150+ tabs.

When I opened the Mozilla app just now all of my open tabs were gone. I’ve accidentally clicked the “close all” icon before but I know this was not the case this time. There is nothing available in “history/recently closed”. My regular history appears to be intact, as are my bookmarks. I don’t have the “inactive tabs” setting switched on so they shouldn't have been moved because of that.

Is there any way to restore my open tabs? I had around 90 of them and would be very sad if they’re lost forever.

There has also been an annoying bug recently where whenever I open the app it opens the very first open tab, instead of the one I last used (which is what I have in my settings).

I have had hundreds of tabs open both on the normal and private side but now when i scroll back to try to access them, they appear blank. For some of them, the title shows, but for others, they are completely blank. I have tried to refresh them but it does not solve the problem, i still cannot see them. I also, cannot hit back / forward to navigate the the previous page for a particular empty tab. This is extremely frustrating because I have things that I need to go back to but now when I do, it is empty. Can you please help to resolve this issue as I really do not want to loose this information that I had on these tabs. I am providing some screenshots to display the issue.

I saw a few others posting about this on reddit, with no solution. I usually try to keep my open tab count low on my phone, because this happened one time maybe a year ago. My recently closed tabs only shows those from this current browsing session. From my pc, synced tabs only shows the few that are still left open. I don't have the Inactive Tabs option switched on. My pc's open tabs are unharmed (phew). I DID clear cache and cookies on my pc earlier today, but that shouldn't close tabs on another device!!

I have an Iphone 11 Pro with iOS version 16.5.1, and I have been having some problems with the Firefox app. I have a number of tabs on my browser, with some of them being very old. I was trying to clear some of them up and I noticed that a good portion of them will not load. Even though I can see their titles in the tab, when I select them, only a blank white page loads up, not even with a URL bar, so I am unable to reload the site. When I try to tap on the tab for longer than a few seconds to bring up additional options, the whole app crashes.

What can be done about this?

Firefox on iOS crashed when I toggles the inactive tabs button on and off and I had about 48 tabs as well 300 + private tabs open for years and when I clicked on the restore tabs button, it did not work and nothing came back. Can you please help me restore the session? I really need those private tabs back so I can save them accordingly. The history is there for the normal tabs but the private ones are the ones I really need back. I just need to be able to restore that session. I can provide log files as needed. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

i use the ios firefox app on iphone 13 ios 16.5.1

the firefox app used to open automatically where it was left off for example if i had closed it while in view mode of all the private tabs and reopend it would still be there in private mode with all tabs in view.

it no longer does this instead it always opens on the standard browsing mode. it also only opens links from other apps in standard browsing mode too now when i open them in the app.

i noticed this start happening maybe a few weeks ago not sure exactly when. i dont think it was a change in my settings because i searched them all for something like this and recall it always being the previous way where it would stay in private mode after being closed.

does anyone know how to fix this or experienced the same?

I am trying to make a purchase on the 5% nutrition website. The browser will not allow me to change flavors from the drop down menu. When I select from the drop down the page reloads to the default. The website works on other browsers. I am running version 116.0.2. Thanks, Jesse

I assumed I posted this question before but I can‘t find it in the forums:

Since some time (2-3 weeks?) Firefox on iOS keeps „logging me oug“ from any website I use.

On google every time I have to consent again, on my news site I have to re-sign in every time to use my subscription …

I am not using the private mode nor have I set to clean everything after closing anywhere (or I don‘t know where to set this).

I am syncing with firefox sync and on my desktop all is just fine. But on iOS it‘s so annoying I am about to drop firefox.

Is there anybody who‘s got an idea what is going on or how I can change this? I uninstalled the App, it‘s automatically kept updated, newest iOS and newest firefox iOS version installed. Nothing helps and cannot find any setting explaining this.

Every single day I need to go through my history and reopen all of my tabs that I previously had open. I have no idea why they keep closing, but have done so since the most recent update. I’m honestly ready to switch to a different browser until this gets fixed because I’m losing my mind over it.

Any help?
