‘Pay with PayPal’ functionality on websites is broken for me and has been across updates of both Firefox and iPadOS for as long as I can remember at this point. I’m using an iPadPro running iOS 16.7.2 with Firefox for iOS version 120.4 (36613). When I’m checking out at e-commerce sites (e.g., J Crew), and I click on the PayPal button when selecting a form of payment, a new tab opens, but it’s literally blank — nothing even tries to connect or load. This happens across e-commerce sites. It doesn’t happen with Firefox on my PC/Windows laptop or on my iPad with other browsers (Chrome, Safari). I have tried everything that I can uninstall/reinstall, deactivate, or toggle, and nothing seems to fix this. I have cross-site tracking disabled in iOS. Some people have suggested that websites are not fully supporting Firefox any longer or that there is a problem with Firefox and Apple’s proprietary rendering engine. I’m really at the end of my wits about this. After having used Firefox faithfully since Netscape disappeared, I’m honestly on the verge of giving up. Please help.

Hi It is impossible to use Firefox on ios 17.2 because it continuously crash. Realle, the issue arise months ago Can you solve the issue or can you send me instructions in order to solve the issue? Regards Mario

I have just within the last day noticed when I visit one particular news type site that it constantly and consistently redirects me to a spam site telling me my phone is being ransomed or some such nonsense. I have tried incognito mode, I have cleared all personal data and cache and uninstalled Firefox then restarted phone then reinstalled and it keeps happening. I’ve noticed it once in a while with random other sites but it never stuck around this one seems more pervasive. I haven’t installed any new apps recently? I have no idea what to do but am concerned of course something is going on. Please help if you can! Thank you very much

Frequently when I chose to close all tabs in Firefox, Firefox crashes. This happens independent of how many tabs I have open. When I close all tabs, this happens 40-50% of the time.

Ever since my IPad updated to iOS 17 I have had issues with Firefox crashing. I currently have iOS17.2 which fixed some other issues but not this issue. When it crashes and I go back in it will ask if I want to restore tabs, if I say no, then I get a new clean tab. However, the next time it crashes (which it will) and it asks to restore tabs, it restores tabs from the first time it crashed, not the current tabs I was on. I have deleted and reinstalled Firefox but it still crashes. And when I say it crashes it does it extensively, every time I go on Firefox. I’m sorry I don’t know the version of Firefox I have nor the operating system.

Twitter (X) keeps saying, "Error Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later." on Firefox 123.0.1, but can log in on my iPhone/Safari just fine... any ideas?

Hi @all, Such quite a while, Firefox almost constantly crashing when closing a or better the last open tab. Tried a support hint and deleted cache and everything and after that it worked for a few days and then it coming up again. When it happens, and I restart FF and try a logged in page directly, I.e. Facebook, FF doesn’t recognize my signin. Closing the tab, waiting a moment, restart the page again and everything is fine. Really don’t know when this behavior begun, but it is really annoying. I face this problem on 2 different iPad Pro. The newer one from last year with an M2 processor and an older one with an Axx don’t know which one exactly. What’s the matter with that? I use Firefox on my Mac and windows. Recently downloaded Firefox for the first time on ipad. Worked well for the sites that I opened for 15 minutes. Opened at max 4 tabs. Then I was crossing out the opened tabs, it crashed when the last open tab was closed. Tried again, and same thing. Since this is my behavior for every session, this could not continue, and I had to uninstall it from the iPad.

Youtube won't work anymore. I've been watching youtube for years and now on Firefox and now it won't work anymore. For months now it keeps saying "Gah. Your tab just crashed". I've tried many things to fix but nothing works. Really annoying. Is it time for me to stop using firefox?
