I just updated my Firefox web browser app to Version 118 from app store. Since then, the app is not functional at all. Most of my tabs won't load, and the app crashes every time I open it. I am on ios 16.7.
My firefox crashes every time I try to open the app. Restarting my phone and redownloading the app does not help, and I cannot access the app to do much else.
All updates since 117.0 crash when I attempt to launch (iPhone X, iOS 14.3). I've never had any issue with previous updates. Seems like a bug that needs rectifying. … (read more)

The latest one (117) causes a startup crash. Can’t access the browser or the settings.
Thank god for jailbreak, I downgraded to the stable 116.4. Cleared web data, rebooted to a non-jailbreak state, updated to 117 and still crashes.
Back to 116.4 until a solution or feedback.

yesterday I updated the Firefox app on my iPhone and since then it started to close on its own after a few seconds since I start to use it.
I am using an iPhone 13 and the Firefox version installed is 110.2. The behavior is the same as if I would close the app with a gesture (by swiping up the little bar at the bottom of the screen when the app is open). In fact the app is still running in the background, but won't stay open to use it.
