I hope there will be an update in which we get bookmarks on the top for ipad. just like on pc. it's definitely possible cause there is enough screen real estate. or make two bars or 3 on ios. I hope this is a feature that will be picked up and implemented one day. I fully switched to Firefox. Cause now it connects every search result to desktop. Also I like that it isn't chromium based

A virus warning kept appearing on my Firefox browser so I deleted the app and redownloaded it. I lost all my bookmarks and I know you have to have them somewhere please help

I don't understand where some bookmarks are when using iOS.

For new bookmarks, I see a row of "Recently Saved" pages on the home page. But I can't find a "Recently Saved" folder in the bookmarks menu.

When I sync with MacOS I see the new bookmarks in a new folder "Mobile Bookmarks". But I can't find a "Mobile Bookmarks" folder on iOS.

Finally, on iOS, I don't see how to access the bookmarks I added to the Bookmarks Menu in MacOS.

Recently, when I type in the URL bar, there is only 1 suggestion from my bookmarks. Before, there were several bookmarks that show.

I want the previous behavior back so that I only need to type a few characters and then choose one of the suggested bookmarks in the list of results. Now, I need to keep typing a lot more characters/words before the 1 bookmark I want shows up. Sometimes I can’t recall enough of the full URL so the bookmark I want never shows up.

This is a big downgrade in the user experience. Is there a setting to go back to the previous behavior?

When using the Edit bookmark feature I can no longer see the button that allows me to actually save changes. I took a screenshot of the edit bookmark window and have attached. As you can see while the window pops up, it no longer contains any buttons to make the edit changes. As a result I can neither edit, or add new bookmarks any longer

When I go to save a bookmark, the “done” or “save” button is missing. I can’t get bookmarks to save because I can’t complete the selection process. Can someone please help me troubleshoot this?

Windows corrupted my user profile so I lost everything... how do I get my bookmarks from Firefox iOS to my desktop PC?

When I sign into my desktop Firefox it has nothing - I am worried if I sync my iOS firefox it will delete all my bookmarks?

I'm tryin to swap over to firefox from chrome vbut I can't see my bookmarks. It seems that the desktop version supports a bookmarks toolbar but the IOS version doesn't. t wouldn't be so bad if I could see ALL my bookmarks on IOS but I can't. I can't find any way of accessing them.

I don't need a bookmarks toolbar on IOS, I just want access to those I bookmark on desktop into the bookmarks toolbar.

Any ideas?

I can’t get the app on iOS to download without a messed up bookmark setting, which means the settings button will not open! Please offer a solution? I installed and reinstalled, plus I’ve tried to delete files folder etc, but the iOS download is holding onto the old file system, which I messed up. I purposely restarted a brand new account, after five to six years of using my old account, but that changed nothing. The bookmarks aren’t even holding on to Mozilla Firefox desktop site book markers?

Why is there no bookmarks toolbar for Firefox IOS? This makes the program useless to me. Is there any way to create and see bookmarks? None of the answers in the forums are of any help. What you tell me I should see I don’t see.

I’ve used Firefox for years because I support non-corporate efforts like this, but the lack of quick access to create and use bookmarks is a deal-breaker for me.

Safari on an iPhone has the ability add a bookmark to the iphone home screen which makes organizing and getting to the desired bookmark easy. I would like to use Firefox instead of Safari but it doesn't appear that Firefox on iOS on an iphone has the ability to add a bookmark to the iPhone home screen. Is that correct? Or am I not doing something correctly.

I have taken two screenshots describing what I mean. Usually, you see a edit/save tab when you click bookmarks to either bookmark a page or edit the location of an existing one.

This has been happening for a while. And I have kept my device and all apps updated to latest available.

For this post, I tried to bookmark a page. Then tried to edit it’s location to “Lending” for instance. In both screenshots you can see there’s that edit/save button missing.

Because of this i am unable to edit my bookmarks’ location.

  For couple weeks , following any external link/reference, such as all 'unsubscribe' links from Apple Mail messages, Firefox opens but homepage rather than to the link/url argument (and url field shows blank, not display the extrrnal link's url address in url input box.
  Support history shows an identical problem in Ff ~117 reported (Aug '23, I think)   (if the condition of Firefox not currently running is same, which I haven't yet been able to determine) and apparently resolved then ( 2 replies, but thread is not visible because FF Support has it recorded as "Archived").

Hi - after deleting then reinstalling Firefox on my ipad I found that all my bookmarks had disappeared. I’ve tried re-syncing bookmarks to no avail, and tried to follow instructions to find my profile (‘about:profiles’, enter) but just reverts back to the same page so can’t progress, tried settings/troubleshooting but no sign of my profile folder let alone ‘Application Basics’. Are my bookmarks permanently gone? Any advice would be much appreciated (I should say I’m not the most computer literate so very probably there’s something I’m not doing right!) - many thanks, Cheryl.
