Firefox for iOS Community Forum

I am an iPhone user. I want to use this is my main default browser which I have set up in settings. Whenever I click on a hyperlink it will Open Firefox but then will not load I end up having to copy and paste. Is this some setting that I have missed? Or is this just Apple trying to get me to use safari?

I have user name and password in moe.gov.om. In my desktop and laptop it is working fine. But in ipad. Am getting error. You can see it in picture. Please help me

Hi In the absence of network connectivity, submitting a search or entering a URL in the universal bar fails to detect the network issue. Moreover, the content of the universal bar is lost (forcing the user to type again, which can be very frustrating for a long URL)

How to reproduce: - open firefox iOS - switch your phone to airplane mode and deactivate wifi - open a new tab and try accessing any webpage (eg mozilla.org, or type something to be searched) - observe how the content of the bar is instantly lost and a blank page is displayed.

What should be expected: - the universal bar should still contain whatever was typed (or the URL of the search engine) - the body of page should display the usual "The internet connection appears to be offline" message.

PS: this apparently only happens in newly created tabs, not with existing ones.

  For couple weeks , following any external link/reference, such as all 'unsubscribe' links from Apple Mail messages, Firefox opens but homepage rather than to the link/url argument (and url field shows blank, not display the extrrnal link's url address in url input box.
  Support history shows an identical problem in Ff ~117 reported (Aug '23, I think)   (if the condition of Firefox not currently running is same, which I haven't yet been able to determine) and apparently resolved then ( 2 replies, but thread is not visible because FF Support has it recorded as "Archived").

I am trying to make a purchase on the 5% nutrition website. The browser will not allow me to change flavors from the drop down menu. When I select from the drop down the page reloads to the default. The website works on other browsers. I am running version 116.0.2. Thanks, Jesse

Could you please help me, I'm having trouble logging into some of my accounts, I can't access verification codes or the correct passwords for apps like Amazon.co.uk also I keep having to log onto Firefox browser as it does not allow me to stay lodged in does it need to be updated or is there something else I should be doing. If i open a link to redirect to an app, let’s say wikipedia, it will redirect fine. When i switch back to Firefox, the mobile version of the link i clicked on will be loaded instead of just displaying search engine search results where i clicked the wikipedia link. (Admin note: edited to fix formatting issue)

Another thing that happens is if i click on the link, still being wikipedia, get redirected to the app, then close out firefox, the next time i open firefox, it will redirect me back to the wikipedia app.

This issue I have been having is not just related to Wikipedia, this is for any other link that may open a related app I have installed on my phone.
