You often have different needs on your phone to your tablet or desk top or work computer. While you probably want to sync all your passwords across devices. you might prefer different bookmarks on your toolbar for work versus home versus phone.

It would be great to be able to sort bookmark groups separately between devices.

So my work bookmark toolbar has 8 bookmarks my home desktop bookmark toolbar has a different 13 bookmarks my ipad has 9 bookmarks similar to my home desktop my phone has 5 bookmarks i NEED quick easy access to on-the-go.

Personally i have a different firefox accounts for work and home. But I don't really want ANOTHER firefox account for my phone, since i want all those passwords always synced across all my devices.

In Firefox iOS mobile I have created some folders to tidy things up a bit. But everywhere I look to try to find out how to actually move my bookmarks into the appropriate folders the method is the same, push down on the bookmark I want to move and I should see something saying move to folder. But I can’t seem to make it work that way. The only choices I get are open in new tab, open in private tab, add to shortcuts, delete, or share. What am I missing? Below is a screenshot of what I see using this method.

Firefox for iPadOS.

New iPad. Restored from backup. Wasn’t working right so I removed and reinstalled. While I thought my previous version was up to date, the new one looks different. The toolbar/address bar looks different. Missing is the ⭐️ bookmark button that used to be to the right of the address box. Now I have to go to the menu to find it. It’s an annoying extra step.

Is there a way to get it back to where it used to be?

I hope there will be an update in which we get bookmarks on the top for ipad. just like on pc. it's definitely possible cause there is enough screen real estate. or make two bars or 3 on ios. I hope this is a feature that will be picked up and implemented one day. I fully switched to Firefox. Cause now it connects every search result to desktop. Also I like that it isn't chromium based

Help! I’m trying to access my saved articles in airplane mode while traveling. This used to be no problem but new app last year won’t let me. Tell me the secret of how to do it! Thanks.
