Hi, is there a way to change the user agent on iOS? The FxiOS part makes the browser way more fingerprint-able than standard safari, even with all the anti-fingerprint settings to the max.

In the image attached, I’m trying to scroll through the search suggestions given by “Firefox Suggest”. However, when I try to swipe up in the red circled area, instead of scrolling down, I only click on the page shown in the red circled area. This behavior is new and was not always there. I could previously scroll down while swiping up in the red-circled area. Also, in the red-circled area, it looks like there is a longer list of "Firefox Suggest" options that the keyboard is covering, but I can't get access to this longer list because I can't swipe up. What should I do to fix this?

I got a problem using Mozilla Firefox with iPadOS on my Apple iPad Pro 12,9 M1 with Apple Magic Keyboard.

The problem is about the “right click“ on a link on a page, it’s intermittent, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t. If I open a page and want to open a link in a new tab, I tap the link with two fingers or with one finger and control. When it doesn’t work, at first I got to long tap the link on the touchscreen to show the right click menu to open the link in a new tab. After this procedure I can use the two fingers tap or control tap to open the right click menu.

I hope you can give me some clues to resolve the problem.

I’m having difficulty with Firefox on an iPad mini fifth generation running iOS 16.4.1 and today’s version of Firefox. I’ve used Firefox for years with Duck Duck Go as search engine with no problem. Today without warning Firefox stopped accepting URLs typed into the search bar from the Homepage (or any page). It simply ignores the typing and flickers momentarily, keeping the existing URL and page. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, changing the default search engine from Duck Duck Go to Firefox, and changing from a custom homepage to the Firefox homepage. No luck. Please advise.

put the + back for new tabs. I hate hate hate hate that I have to go all the way over to the 3 lines for a drop down menu for new tabs. it's such an easy fix to put the plus sign back. why do you make simple features SO DIFFICULT

bold text Firefox opens ONLY in Full Screen Mode and can not be minimized. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have clicked on the 3 horizontal bars on the right. I don't want to switch to Chrome or Safari, but I may have to.

Since yesterday’s update, whenever I try to touch the address bar to enter in something (anything at all), it flashes for a bit and doesn’t do anything. It’ll show the search engine and go back to its usual state. I’ve never had this issue before.

I’ve tried redownloading the app on my iPad (Silicon iPad from 2022. Firefox and my iPad are at the latest version.), but nothing’s worked.

I’m out of options. Can anyone help?

Hello, I'm not tech savvy at all so I'm stumped. I am currently trying to read a story in reader mode, and while it was fine for the first few chapters, after that random characters would have random error boxes and were not individually legible, although one could piece it together from context. How should I fix this? Pictures attached below of Original Page + Normal Reader Mode vs Original Page + Problem Reader Mode.

Text boxes in Firefox iOS have been autoscrolling so the text is out of view below the pop up keyboard when I tap to interact with them, and then all the way at the top of the screen when I start typing. The ‘done’ button, which is usually at the top right of the keyboard, above the word suggestions, is now at the top left of the screen below the address bar, and partially obscuring this text as I type it. Only two lines of text are visible at any time. When I tap ‘done’ or scroll while typing, it exits the text box, like usual, but the ‘done’ button stays where it is for a couple seconds or so.

That's it. I just want to see the entire page title. Seems like a normal kind of thing a person would want, and should be easy to do, yet I can't figure out how.

How do I stop auto refresh from happening when I am reading a web page? Using browsers on my Windows PC this doesn’t happen. On my I phone it happens so frequently as to make it pretty much unusable

Hello- I run into issues with the app where I am unable to hit the back button within a tab and have it go to the previous page.

This doesn’t happen all the time, the most consistently I’ve been able to replicate it is when browsing something like search results, coming from a lengthy URL that I have spent a lot of time scrolling through, clicking on a page, exiting the app (especially if I force close it) and then reentering. The page that I had clicked on earlier still loads, but when I try and hit the back button to return to the “search page” it simply displays a white screen with nothing in the url space. It will not load no matter how long I wait or if I refresh. If I long press on the back button to see the history of the tab, the pages that won’t load are displayed as “internal://local/sessionrestore?url=https%3A%2F…” To my knowledge there is no way to see the rest of that address because it doesn’t appear with that format in the search bar or my history.

Another interesting aspect is not all the pages in a tabs history will do this, and the only pattern I’ve been able to find is that the longer the URL, the more likely it will to be unavailable. Sometimes only one page will have this or sometimes it will happen to almost the entire history of the tab. This also happens in private tabs.

My currently solution is to simply go into my history and find the link from there but that is not perfect and gets tedious if I have multiple tabs open and have to search back through my history for a certain link.

Both the app and my iOS are fully up to date. I haven’t had any issues with Sync and I’m not opening these tabs on any other devices. I have Strict tracking protection on, but for one website I turned it to the default and still got this issue. While this doesn’t happen every time I close/switch out of the app, it certainly happens 50% of the time, possibly more.

The images attached are what pops up when I long press the back button on 2 different times where this happened.

i like firefox and like to use it. BUT when i hit share, it wont let me share on messages. i have to go to chrome. when on mdvip, it wont let me select doctor recipient. have to go to chrome. small problems but i am just using chrome more and more.

When scanning a QR Code and telling it to save the contact information, Firefox downloads the VCF card file and does not open it. Safari comes up with a message saying you’re attempting to open a contact card, do you want to proceed.

Can we please fix this or have an option to open certain file types

I am wondering if there is a setting I am missing that will allow the use of a third-party keyboard in the iOS app, or if this function is not supported. If it is not, will this be a part of a future update? Thank you.
