I keep Firefox open in the background on my iPad. Every time I go to it, a new tab opens up,that jumps to my Goodreads app. This drives me crazy. Can anyone suggest how I can get it to stop doing that?

Safari on an iPhone has the ability add a bookmark to the iphone home screen which makes organizing and getting to the desired bookmark easy. I would like to use Firefox instead of Safari but it doesn't appear that Firefox on iOS on an iphone has the ability to add a bookmark to the iPhone home screen. Is that correct? Or am I not doing something correctly.

on my iPhone 7+ the firefox screen is locked. message says: https://networkdefense-guardian.com Your device is infected and vulnerable to cyber-attacks and data theft! To protect your iPhone press the button below. there are two buttons: CONFIRM is not active OK in colour blue, I assume is active. I have not pressed the button.

How do I prevent this hack, assuming it is a hacker? How do I unlock screen safely so can use firefox?

Like the title says, just looking for an option in settings to delete all data on close for the IOS version. If there is not an option, what is the possibility of getting one in a future release? Thanks for any helpful responses.

How is it possible that such a glaring design error still exists after so many have asked for so long?

And to those commenting completely incorrect and unhelpful steps that lead to menus that don’t exist in the settings, WHY?

I’m bout to go back to safari. I love everything Firefox stands for but this is such a glaring oversight I can’t help but wonder what else is being missed.

I don't know if this is a system wide iOS issue or something specific to Firefox, but I'm not able to disable link preview when long pressing a link. I was able to disable it in Safari which also disabled it in iMessage, but link previews are still showing up in Firefox and Firefox Focus. It's very surprising for a browser focused on privacy and security. I should not have to make a connection to another server in order to see the URL behind a link. Automatically downloading from an unknown URL opens my device up to zero day exploits and privacy violations. Does anyone know how to disable this completely or submit a bug report to Firefox?

Until today, Fire Fox on my iPad has reliably interacted with the iOS password repository to auto fill passwords for web sites. Now it presents the prompt to use a saved password but it never goes and retrieves it. It leaves the login and password fields blank. I’m using Firefox 116.2 (33536) and iPadOS 16.6.

It has also stopped working on my iPhone.

When using Firefox on an iPhone 13 mini it keeps locking up stuck on a web page and nothing will clear it unless I reboot the iPhone the all ok it’s so bad now I can’t use Firefox as my default browser

As of this morning Firefox crashes on start up on both my iPad and my iPhone, both running on iOS 16.2. On the iPhone no messages are shown, it simply crashes. On the iPad however a message is shown that Firefox seems to have crashed and I'm asked whether I want to restore tabs. Choosing either 'yes' or 'no' results in starting up Firefox and crashing again with the same message/question as a result.

I have removed and reinstalled Firefox on my iPad. It did start up and I was able to sign in with my account. However, when I wanted to use Firefox again, crashing on start up was there again.

My Firefox crash on my iPhone (IOS 16.2) since 108 update BUT ONLY when I connect/sync to my account (if I don't try to connect to account it works fine, but its then quite useless). Each time I reconnect =) CRASH (pop up says "hum firefox as crashed. do you want to reopen? I click ok = it recrashes again and again) I'm getting to you as I've tried ALL solving problem issues I could find but none seems to work. Basically I have: - Desinstalled and reinstalled the App (from store or link) 10 times already. - “Repaired” my Firefox account on PC in case it had someting to do with it. - Posted the issue on Apple IOS support which answered that if it runs ok on Mac PC then pbm come from Mozilla not IOS. - Posted the issue on French Mozilla support 5 days ago and get no answer NOTHING works and I can not get a crash report as FIrefox is not accessible once it has crashed right? Can any one help please? Thanks

Starting last week, or earlier, Firefox in my iPhone renders some websites in night mode colours. This seems most frequent in sites accessed by Google. I have tried turning night mode on and off in as many places as I can find, without improving the situation.

There is no ‘recent history ‘ option under ‘history’ so cannot delete history using advised method. Under “history” all i get is a list of sites visited with no option to remove. No left or right swipe eithrr. Only option seems to be to delete firefox

How do I show Firefox bookmark toolbar on my iPad Pro, that I setup on my iMac? Is there some other way to access all my bookmarks I’ve set up in Firefox on my iMac?
