Java plugin stopped working when he is trying to download a java applet, it is only happening in the version 42 and above. I have tried three solutions and it doesn't working. I also tested if there is something wrong with java itself and there isn't. It is only happening in firefox. How can i fix this?

Firefox seems to add bytes to some cached items and the beginning and at the end. When I download and compare the source, it's different. Bug 1000338 occurs too

Some binary items cached by FF when viewed in a hex editor have 15 bytes added at the beginning, some bytes are added at the end and some bytes are scattered around the cached file. When I download the original file and compare the original file with the cached file, they differ in these added byte sequences. No application is launched that could have modified the cache files. What could be the problem? When I reload Firefox and open cache manager, I get bug 1000338 for these files. I'm not sure these two things are related though.

Firefox is crashing at startup. Previously it was working without any issues. At startup it is showing firefox crash reporter.

If I refresh Firefox it will work correctly but at the next restart it dose nothing. After reading many help forums I have down load and run the Mozregession tool. this is the result of the last tested build.

There is no error being provided and i cant exactly describe the problem other than when trying to save an image or anything with 'Save image as' or similar. It crashes.
Firefox won't install in my new Win 10 laptop.

Firefox was working yesterday, however this morning when I went to launch it, it never loaded. Opened up task manager it pops open for a moment then instantly closes I have tried uninstalling it both by using windows 10 uninstall function and did a reinstall same issue. I have tried uninstalling by manually deleting both folders in program files (normal and x86). reinstall same issue. I cant run Profile Manager because it does the same thing. I went to my firewall settings there are multiple instances of Firefox ,not really sure what to do, two just say "Firefox" (no quotes) the other says Firefox "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox". Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

- I updated Firefox to latest version - I tried in safe mode - I tried on two different Windows version ( formated two hard drives ) - I tried on two different hard drives - I tried initial graphic cd rom drivers and latest graphic drivers - I tried two different graphic cards - I tried two different DIMM Ram - I tried to format bios and load default bios settings
Google chrome is also crashing randomly. Only Internet explorer is working. ( Microsoft Edge ).

Hi there i've this problem: Since i've reinstalled firefox 2 weeks ago after formatting pc , firefox is slower then it was before and when i go to a website often it stays for at least 3 min downloading at full bandwidth (15 mb/s) after fully loading it. It also is very slow in loading websites compared both to firefox pre formatting and chrome for example.
Sometimes the downloading appears randomly, even after 20-30 minutes of idle computer (i know cause my brother complains about internet lagging)
I've tried to go to the same website from chrome and firefox and chrome doesn't have the downloading issue to excluse it is a website issue.

Problem happens on any Web page. Words such as "account, customer, profile, address, Internet, etc" company names and phone numbers ae hi-jacked by adverts. Hovering over the highlighted word pops up an advert. Clicking on the advert opens a new tab showing Url is "s.iktmmny.com/click.........." . Clicking in any input field popsup a new window or a tab with an advert. Closing window or tab show input field as selected.

Thank you for looking Windows XpPro on IBMT60 Thinkpad This morning last session Firefox will not open and gives this error The procedure entry point ?recreateDefault@TimeZone@icu_55@@SAXXZ could not be located in the dynamic lik library icuin55.dll I think I am still on ver 42 but I can't check to see as it won't run I have a very recent installation upgrade of Win10 on a seperate HD and the two OSs don't seem happy together I think the later os is messing with the older one's files instead of ignoring it, I don't know how to tell it to ignore the second disc which also has a linux partition on it which windows does ignore. the copy of the file on this win xp hd is from the 25th the copy of the file on the win10 disc is from yesterday which is last time I started a win 10 session

I am hoping there is a really easy fix for this but for the last couple of days every time I press the space bar in firefox, either in the URL or the home page search it automatically places the curser in the search bar. if i have been typing something it continues in the search bar and if i press the space bar again it starts all over again.
i have tried safe mode, i have tried refreshing, i have unistalled and reinstalled but still the problem remains.
i really like firefox and I'm hoping there is solve for this as i don't want to move to another browser.
