Hello!

Ever since I reinstalled firefox again, and it updated to 113 version, I can't see videos in full screen. I click on full screen, but there is an edge around the sides and bottom, and i can see the browser background. I don't know what to do. I tried with about:config option but then my taskbar was visible. my browser never had these issues before. Should I just wait for a new update? This happened after i installed it again after uninstalling, because I thought I needed to uninstall US version to get the UK version again.

If you can, I'd be very thankful.

I’ve just signed in to my Firefox account for the first time in approximately two years. I’ve deliberately clicked “Later” when it suggested to sync my data. A few seconds later I found myself with messed up preferences, merged extensions, what else? (And that’s the worst that I don’t know what else is wrong.) There are three absolutely wrong things here: Sync has enabled despite I had explicitly said no; it didn’t ask what to sync before syncing; and it’s absolutely unclear how it resolves conflicts. I would very much like to know what exactly data was affected and what exactly had happened to it, and how Sync handles conflicts, especially in regards to extensions’ data. Thanks.

A Windows 7 computer, on being restarted from an overnight rest will nor open local files but will open URL referenced files. All Firefox Extensions have been removed. There was no problem before the computer was turned off. This computer can also open in Windows XP. It performs well in XP.

When playing embedded videos in fullscreen, a border appears around all the edges of the video except the top. The border is only a few pixels wide, and shows the desktop, as if it is behind the embedded video. The background (desktop) can not be interacted with at this time. This error occured approx 2 days ago. I believe it is a firefox issue as i have tried multiple other browsers and they all work fine. I have also tried multiple video streaming sites and the problem occurs with all of them.

Since Firefox installed the most recent update May 9th, update 113.0 (20230504192738), whenever I play a video full screen from any websites including YouTube, news sites, basically anything streaming a video, the video itself is not 100% full screen as it was prior to the update yesterday. The video expands to the top of the screen, but the two side and lower borders do not expand fully and the website underneath can be seen on these sides. I attached a random YouTube video screenshot and a news channel video with dark borders to show what is happening. Again this is on all websites with video and full-screen options, not just YouTube, and this was not happening prior to the recent update 113.0 being installed last night on my computer. I've tried the previous fixes like clearing the cache, etc., and it seems to be a bug in the recent update since this did not happen prior to last night's update installation. I played the same videos in the Chrome browser and the issues are NOT present, and the videos expand to cover the entire screen as normal. Does anyone have a fix or can a fix be requested? Видео не раскрывается на весь экран. Остаётся рамка браузера. Так на всех абсолютно сайтах. При переходе в полноэкранный режим, остаётся эта рамка. Началось после обновления 113.0

все время падает браузер при нажатии "вставка" из мышки или при CTRL+V переустановила фаерфокс но проблема так и не решилась. даю вам последний шанс и меняю браузер на Хром.

This is Mind-Numbingly Frustrating!!! I try to load an ordinary website, in this case, DiscountTire.com. I can see that it Firefox tries to load the site, but won't. This is a VERY LARGE COMPANY. But, as is frequently the case, Firefox will not load the site. I try to allow it in Privacy section, but to no avail. And yes, it is an https site. What Gives? This happens repeatedly for many (MANY) websites; HOW DO I TELL FIREFOX THAT I WANT TO USE A SITE?

Firefox strips https and www from URL (default behavior)

i.e. https://www.domain.tld turns into domain.tld

Problem is that it is two different sites, which makes connections to https://www.domain.tld imposible.

Setting browser.urlbar.trimURLS ti false does nor change this behavior.

A msg. suddenly appeared at the top of my ff general settings page saying "your organization is managing your browser". Upon clicking on it it appears that Chrome has taken over most of my ff settings and disabled some of them. I have NO organization; I am retired and have a personal computer that only I use for personal things. I have run numerous anti malware programs that have found nothing. I have restored the computer to a much earlier time. I chose Firefox, NOT Chrome. Please help me get rid of this. And please don't assume I have knowledge as I am old and not very computer literate so if you could use simple terms I can understand that would be much appreciated. If no help, what can I do next to get some. Thank you I am using Windows 7 home premium on an older Dell business machine.

My firefox browser refuses to open https://www.mca.gov.in though I can open it with chrome. It happened all of a sudden while I am browsing that site. Since then I could not open this particular site only.

this netbook is 4 use with emails only.its slow and grinds to a halt when firefox tries to restore last session and recomended by pocket etc are on it i turned them off b 4 but now there back. will definatly ditch firfox unless they stay turned off. ime not very cleaver and require you to do this from your end. this is firfoxes last chance. read and under stand no do this or that either!!! one chance only !!!!

With the latest version 112.0.2 NordPass stopped functioning properly. Will not autofill. This happens on all 3 of my computers 2 are windows 10 and a win 7). Other browsers (Edge. Brave etc) work fine. I have cloned backup of system disks. I booted from a backup drive, which has previous version of the browser. and NordPass works fine. I tried several troubleshooting steps: turned off all other extensions - complete uninstall of NordPass and did an install - lowered security protection - used CCleaner & Privazer to clean system after each step. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Firefox is is my default browser.
