Firefox just updated a few days ago to version 149.0. Prior to, no issues. Now every time I enter a search term and hit enter. A new tab opens and the page is blank. It only happened after the update. Closing the tab and doing the same thing again opens a new page correctly.

I am trying to activate the new free VPN feature, however your steps are not matching what's on my screen.

The first step from your [Set up VPN] article says:

"Look for the VPN setup prompt in the top-right corner of your Firefox toolbar.

   Click Next to begin the setup process. "

Yet I am not receiving this prompt.

I have logged into my account, encountered issues with my authenticator app and back up keys not being saved, and so signed up with a new mozilla account using my secondary google email. (This account I am raising this ticket with now. My primary account/email is [edited email from public] @gmail.com).

Hoping you can clarify or give an easy route into activating this wonderful new service you've announced. Am I right in understanding that it is different (ie. built-in and free?) to your Paid Service ?

Since the last upgrade I have lost ALL bookmarks, History, everything is gone, Passwords also

I tried loading the old profile god knows what it is called, and there's still nothing

WHY DOESN'T FIREFOX BACKUP EVERYTHING BEFORE FORCING CHANGES

All my data that I had in Firefox is gone. I have been using Firefox for 3 years now and had bookmarks and accounts set up. Today I opened firefox and logged in and they asked for recovery key out of nowhere now all my data is gone. If I dont get access to my bookmarks and saved accounts I will be switching to a different browser.

When I open Firefox in Windows 11 a small window appears that reads, "Firefox Couldn't load XPCOM. I have not found any solutions to stop this that work. Will Mozilla fix this?

I updated to Firefox 149 (German User) and did not get the Seutp prompt mentioned in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/built-in-vpn#w_turn-on-vpn-in-firefox I Also tried https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/built-in-vpn#w_how-do-i-turn-off-or-remove-vpn-from-my-toolbar to check the Optiions in the Settings, but there is also the part "VPN" missing. In the Help Section it says that I have installed 149.0 (64-Bit) Windows Version. Is there something missing?

my firefox keep crashing when i join google meet and i need to do multitask so i open another firefox windows(private or not) it always crash few second after, i have tried the trouble shoot mode its still crashing, even the new windows from SSO request do trigger my firefox to crash. when the browser crash it does offer me to restore my session

Ever since 149.02 update Firefox has been unable to download any images automatically. They are always 'canceled'. I have to manually click RETRY button for it to work.

I have been through a ton of possibilities with Gemini, none of which worked. Apart form totally reset Firefox, which I refuse to do because WTF !

Gemini gave up and suggested I post something on here. I'll just switch to Brave until 149.03 fixes it.
