I had the Primary password set.

Today I restarted Firefox to install some updates (not sure if that's relevant), and when I opened Firefox again, I expected to enter my primary password for sync, but nothing showed up. I thought it was some bug after update or something, so I closed and reopened Firefox, but no dialog box came out.

So I went to passwords section and tried to view one password, which should prompt me to enter my primary password, but it just showed the password to me without asking for my primary. This is where I got quite scared.

I went to my settings and I found out that my primary password is just... not set. I did not remove it, I never told it to anyone, I didn't give anyone a chance to extract it. But it is just not there.

What the hell is going on? I couldn't find any answer to this, anywhere. Is there some option to see how/when was my primary password removed? Some logs?

Suite à la mise à jour de Firefox avec l'arrivée des nouveaux profils, j'ai perdu tout ce que j'avais enregistré sur ma session : tous mes mots de passe, mes marque-pages ainsi que les données de mon compte. Impossible de les retrouver ou de récupérer les données de mon compte initial. Je ne comprends pas ce qu'il s'est passé et surtout, j'aimerais savoir comment faire pour récupérer mes mots de passes et marques pages qui ont disparus ??

I just purchase a new computer. Windows 11. When I first set it up I tried to log into Yahoo.com mail on 4 different browsers. None of them worked. Either had the error message of "1. Disable Ad Blockers 2. Enable Java Script". or "something went wrong". I disabled the ad/pop up blockers but cannot find settings for Java. I am not having trouble on any other device, nor with any other website.

I restored the computer to factory specs since I had hardly anything on it. That did not work either.

I want to delete/remove subject folder from my Windows 11 desktop. I did not create this folder; it suddenly appeared after I reinstalled the Firefox browser. These are the steps I am using in the deletion process: I right click on the folder and click on the delete icon. At the top of the window it says "Folder Access Denied." (Image 1) Below that it says, "You'll need to provide administrator permission to delete this folder." If I click on the "Continue" button, then the error message changes to "You require permission from OWNER/(me) ... to make changes to this folder." (Image 3) The permissions for this folder listed in the "Security" tab lists three groups: 1. "SYSTEM," 2. "F... S... (...@ Outlook.com)" and 3. "Administrators (Owners/Administrators)." All the foregoing have full control and modify control for this folder. The "More details" seen in Images 1 and 3 is grayed out so I cannot get any additional information. How can I delete this unnecessary and data hogging folder? Thank you all very much in advance to all that chose to respond.

Incoming messages on Firefox display is quite small as compared to Microsoft Edge and I cannot seem to enlarge as I do not see a "zoom" icon. When

I highlight the words, they are Arial font size 14 but visually they are not.  How do I zoom and default the window size? Here is a frame shot.

Since yesterday, I’ve been experiencing an issue where the entire browser randomly freezes for a few seconds. When this happens, everything stops — I can’t open or close tabs or windows, and I can’t type in the address bar. If I’m typing something when it freezes, the input seems to be stored in the background and then appears all at once after about 5 seconds, when the browser becomes responsive again. All add-ons are disabled, the computer has been restarted, and the latest version of Firefox is installed. This issue started just yesterday — before that, everything was working perfectly. No new programs were installed, and all other applications on my system are functioning normally. When I switch to Chrome, there are no issues at all. Thank you for your help.

I can't get to OpelGT.com. It is a car site that I moderate and visit frequently. I just get "waiting" or other messages if I use the link on the Firefox start screen. I can get to all other websites I normally visit with no problems(CNN, various Facebook groups and pages, Amazon, etc.). This problem started around the last few days of November. I CAN get to OpelGT.com using Microsoft Edge with no troubles.

When opening firefox, why do I have to wait for it to update?

I am asking it to open, not to update. You can do it on closing, not on opening. Am I opening the browser for you to update, or for me to navigate?

I have two computers both with Windows 11 and Firefox is synced. On one computer the Capital One website works perfectly with no problems but on the other I can't get details of credit card charges and I often get messages like oops something went wrong. On that computer the site works perfectly when I use Chrome to access it. Any ideas?

Whenever I try to use Reddit Firefox refuses to display most media elements. This has only been a problem since the recent upgrade to 145. I've tried refreshing Firefox. I've even re-installed it, using a totally new profile.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I get the following message (image attached) in the console if I inspect one of the elements involved.

I keep getting emails regarding my signing into accounts from different locations. Now the thing is that I use a VPN to access MSN outside of China because I cannot read the Chinese version. It is kind of annoying getting the emails from MSN but there is no way to contact whoever to let them know I use a VPN. Does anyone know who I can inform about this?

For some months now, LinkedIn does not load 90% of the time. It just 'hangs'. It's the only website that this problem happens. So I switch to another browser to access LinkedIn now, which is my most used site.

After Installing new system on my laptop and singing in to my Mozilla account nothing was restored from it. Everything is empty as it is completely new account but I created this one few years back and never had a problem with a sync. Hopefully it will be restored since I had large amount of important bookmarks. If you can check and resolve it please. Thank you.

Hi there. The Netflix homepage is no longer displayed properly. Only the headlines are visible without the thumbnails (see screenshot 1). Netflix is properly displayed in screenshot 2 which was taken in an other browser. Can somebody please help me to solve this problem. Many thanks.

Every time I click away to a different program, it closes my private browsing window. It automatically closes and I cannot find a relevant setting. Only happens in private browsing.
