Last Tuesday I deleted all references to Firefox. It was a combination error with one of my spam folder. There was nothing wrong with Firefox - it was all in my head (I'm nearly 80, so you can figure that out!}

Hello, I always use Firefox logged into my Mozilla account.

Yesterday I went to a (legitimate) site, that I had never visited before and only read one page. I didn't click on anything on that site/page, I only read that one page and left the site. Not long afterwards, I received a promotional email from that site stating "Thanks for stopping by!".

My question is: how did they know my email (the email used by my Mozilla account)? I have never received emails from that site, and as I said, I never visited it until then.

Does Firefox expose the Mozilla account email when visiting sites? This is pretty troubling. I would appreciate any input you have. Thanks

I've been unable to play amazon prime videos on firefox for some time now. It comes up with error message 'video unavailable'. I've followed all the advice on amazon website and google searches but nothing works. what do i do ? (this is on asus zenbook laptop) I've tried checking for updates on firefox and add ons, restarting Firefox, restarting laptop, clearing cache , checking DRM settings and deactivating proxy servers.

I'm trying to load https://bfjoy.com/ and only Firefox is redirecting my typing of 'bfjoy.com' as an http: website instead of the correct https:

Why is this? I assume DNS but what is Firefox doing to redirect to the unsecured site that other browsers aren't?

i have just downloaded Firefox and i go to open in and it flashes open an close immediately. the occurs every time that i open the program. i have reinstalled it multiple times to see if that's the issue, used the Microsoft store to download it, the website, i tried to get the beta that didn't help and i was just wondering what the issues was and wondering if you could. i looked in the error message folder as well and its empty.

When i open normal tab with Yandex search and search something, i get yandex captcha every time

When i open private tab firefox (also waterfox\librefox), i get captcha every search google.com. Change proxy with FoxyProxy fixing problem

Google chrome \ vivaldi \edge \ yandex browser and other chromium browsers doesnt have this problem

Themes do not stay locked since several updates back. It is ridiculous that every time you open the browser you need to go to settings and get 'dark theme' back on, when it is the only theme many of us with visual problems can use. MANY people have complained about this (read your own reviews). FIX IT! It's doubtless a five minute job to put this back the way it was.

In the last week or so, iPlayer, All4, and Spotify (that I know of) have stopped working in the Firefox browser. All4's error suggests DRM isn't enabled, the others just say try again. Roll20 hasn't been working for even longer (more like months). They work in Microsoft Edge and Chrome. Youtube is still working, as are video players in social media.

I have tried the following solutions:

• Firefox is up to date
• Windows is up to date
• Updated graphics drivers
• 'Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc.' is set to 'Always Activated' and is up to date
• 'Play DRM-controlled' content is ticked in about:preferences
• Checked if anything changed if either of the above were turned off (it did not)
• media.eme.enabled is set to true in about:config
• Put Firefox in troubleshooting mode
• Turned off my addons (including uBlock Origin) manually
• Tried in a Private Browsing window
• Turned off Tracking Protection
• Restarted my laptop

Nothing has fixed the problem, or given me any more indication of what is wrong. I don't know how to a) fix or b) find the problem. All I can think is that it may be related to the recent changes to Chromium regarding ad-blockers? But no one else seems to be having the same problem so I doubt it.

Somehow, for some pdf files, the font looks very weird as in the following image. When I open the same website with other browsers like Brave it looks normal. It also becomes normal when I download it and open it with pdf reader. So this is basically a font issue. Any solution?

Hi, can you help? I can't access morphy richards website from my phone and my pc through Firefox. I can access it through Microsoft Edge on my pc and my Samsung Internet app on my phone but not through my Firefox app or windows 11 Pro desktop pc. I get this message on my pc

Steps I have taken is clearing data, history and cache on pc, turning off mcafee firewall. I use my pc through a wired Internet connection and my phone through Wi-Fi and data and it's the same on both I can't access the website. Like I mentioned I can access it no problems through Microsoft Edge on my pc and Samsung Internet app on my phone so I have now pinpointed it to Mozilla Firefox being the issue, also this is the only website I have issues with. I use Firefox Developer Edition as my default testing browser. I have it set up to clear the cookies and site data when Firefox is closed. For my normal browsing I use regular Firefox (currently version 120.0). I was looking through the settings on 121.0 beta Firefox Beta November 21, 2023 and saw it has the very useful Cookie Banner Blocker: When a site asks if they can use cookies in private browsing mode, Firefox Developer Edition automatically refuses for you. Only on supported sites.

According to the https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cookie-banner-reduction?as=u&utm_source=inproduct this was introduced in Firefox version 120. However I do not see it in my regular Firefox 120.0. Both browsers say that "Your browser is being managed by your organization." I can change the proxy settings in regular Firefox 120, but not in Firefox Developer beta 121. Although both have the same sentinelone 2023.1.4.650 extension set.

Hello all. I'd like to restore the backspace button function but the previously workable solution — resetting browser. backspace_action to 0 — is not working for me. Any hints as to why that might be the case?

I have been using firefox mozilla to access our company EPM system for 3 years. It has been working fine but lately after I installed the latest firefox mozilla version, the horizontal scroll bar disappear in search results in the EPM system.

This did not happen when I use google chrome to access the system or Edge. It is clearly Firefox mozilla issue. Nothing is set in my preferences to make scroll bar disappear.

Hello! I'm on Windows 11 and when trying to update QBittorrent, if I download the last setup.exe from it's official source with Firefox, the file won't open. No error message, no crash, nothing. No amount of double click or "run as admin" will get it to budge. I've had the problem with the last three versions of QBittorrent.

However, when I download the same .exe from the same website with Microsoft Edge, it runs like a charm and I'm able to update QBittorent.

What's weird is that it's not even consistent; I always get that bug with QBittorrent but the other .exe files I downloaded run just fine. I only use Windows Defender for malware protection and it doesn't see the QBittorrent file as a menace. I tried downloading the file to another location than my desktop but the issue persists.

Is there something I can do to fix this?

Unable to install Firefox on WIN11. Wants to create a profile but get "An unexpected error has prevented your changes from being saved. (This is a new Desktop unit I received today and have not had any problems with WIN10.

I'm having an issue with Fidelity Investments website logging me off after 5-10 minutes of inactivity. Before Fidelity's website redesign, I could go at least 30 minutes or more without having to login again. It seems now I have to login constantly.

I have contacted Fidelity, but the said it was a Firefox issue, however, I cannot find any information about this issue (or I don't know where to look).

How do I extend the time before needing to login again? Thoughts on if is this even a Firefox issue or is it Fidelity's website?
