I was having problems with overlays and somehow got to a page that allowed me to turn off overlays....I ignored the warning about some sites would not work properly and turned it on....now most sites do not work properly. I cannot find the page in setting to turn overlays back on. i have uninstalled and reinstalled with no results. I cannot find the page even on my other computers that i did not mess with. Where do i go to turn that switch back on?

I clicked the Facebook homepage shortcut instead of using my regular bookmark. The page eventually loaded to the login screen, which then led to a Captcha verification screen, and another, and another, etc., until I got back to the login. Whew! Okay. No, not okay, it prompted me to get a verification code by email. I entered the code to log in. It started again. Then again. Cleared cache, etc, restarted browser, all the usual, didn't help. I had to leave for work.

When I got home, I restarted my computer and reset the modem. I removed the homepage shortcuts. Used my regular Facebook bookmark and logged in. Why did this happen? I am now terrified of the Homepage Shortcuts! 🤡💀

I have used gmail including calendar and contacts with Firefox for 5 years, suddenly contacts and calendar will not open, has a Firefox upgrade caused this problem?

For about two weeks, most of the pages/websites that I use that require logins/passwords will not load (or take an extremely long time to load--like an hour or more). Gmail and sports stats app are okay...banking, credit cards, social media, online shopping are NOT. Websites that do NOT require a login (local news, The Weather Channel, my city website) have no trouble loading at all.

I have made no changes to my computer since about February. I'm running Windows 11 (up-to-date), and Firefox says that it is also up-to-date.

I am only experiencing this problem on my desktop (but that is my device of choice) and not on my laptops or smartphone.

I pinned an address like https://www.example.com/necessary/path/so/this/works but when I open my PWA firefox connects to https://www.example.com which by some genius design throws me to a different website if I am not logged in. So I have to access the correct path from a regular FF window, then log in, then open my PWA.

PWAs must connect to the correct address (https://www.example.com/necessary/path/so/this/works), NOT the home page (http://www.example.com)

Is there a fix for this? How can I fix this?

Recently my system updated Firefox to version 149.0.2. It works great! However, it will not display my homepage which is yahoo.com. I can go to any other website and everything is normal. But when I click on the little house for "Homepage" it briefly displays and then goes blank.

This does not happen when I use a different browser.

Please advise.

Using "https://www.va.gov/sign-in/?application=mhv&oauth=false&to=home" unable to login to VA Department of Veterans Affairs. Neither ID.me or Login.gov authentication will allow login. Using either of the latter, the authentication process just cycles continuously. Diagnostics included clearing cache and rebooting Firefox version 151.0.3. OS is W10. However, I was successful using Chrome. Problem began about 5 June.

Webgl has completly broken after last update for me. Forcing webgl in about config doesnt work and it doesnt work in troubleshoot mode either. Anything else i can try apart from reinstall from scratch as im worried about losing my history,saved account info and such. Or do i just need to do a full refresh and install? Thank you!

After the latest update, a website I use (https://compcon.app/) started throwing the following errors:

It can't load the font the website is asking it to use and is replacing it with a default one instead.

Do you know how to fix this? Either on my end or theirs?

After the recent Firefox update to 151.0 I can no longer log into Facebook. The reCAPTCHA is now broken. I did a system restore to version 150.0.3 and it works fine. Something is broken and I don't want to restore all my computers and devices. Thank You.

In Firefox for the last 2 months or more with some ebay searches (and also Google searches- I do a search- then I select 'images' at the top) only the first few (2-6) lines of images are displayed. The results after that have no image displayed. This problem has appeared in the last few months- I thought you would have fixed it by now- there was no problem before then. I've tried doing the same searches in another browser ( MS Edge ) and there is no problem- so now I am forced to use MS Edge for some things, but I would prefer to use Firefox. Please fix it!
